Yes I will say NEVER CLEAN THEM!!! EVER!!!! lol
They are a regular client so I will do what it takes to finish the job, but I have no idea what kind of glass it is or how it was made and either do they. Why do you suppose the top layer of prints are fine...I can only think there is...
Well I spent about a half hour with a heat gun and worked the edges, but I can see that it still wants to lift. The central areas are all fine, only around the edges. I peeled one back and it still feels a little moist. I also see that none of the images along the top are lifting, just the...
I printed 9 panels of photographs for a client that has basically a hollywood squares wall in his board room. Each panel is actual frosted glass. It felt smooth to me and I never even gave it a second thought that I would run into trouble,. because each photo completely filled the panel I...
I feel your pain as I have been so frustrated with my d140 and the issues with reading the marks. I have all sorts of tricks to make it work, but about a month ago nothing worked. I was basically trapped in front of that machine for over an hour trying to get it to cut a $50 decal set. I...
Yes I see it in the print and rip area... I have never in 10 years even really taken notice of it before. I have no idea how it changed, but thank you for the knowledge.
I just swapped out my old hard drive with a cloned new drive and everything is working fine, except I now seem to get a holding message in prod manager and it never sends the file out to print. If I send it again from the prod manager , then it re rips it and it goes to print. never had this...
I use Signlab 8 for all my vinyl cutting and designing for print. I use Flexi for print and cut only and I have Omega to run my Edge. Everything is basically set up in Signlab and then sent out to the other softwares on different work stations to run printer and Edge
A customer brought in a 12' trailer that we lettered up about 8 - 10 years ago... We used that premium chrome vinyl by Coburn. One side that sits in the sun for the most part is completely faded to clear and he wants 1 side and the rear redone.
I started with the steamer and a plastic razor...
I appreciate your argument ikarasu, and I agree 100% with your argument. I posted the question for exactly what you stated. An example of "if it ain't broke don't worry about it" issues. For example.... For a period of time ( and I have no idea why it started, and why it has stopped) the odd...
Thanks... that's where I found it too. will look it over and see if I can get it back on. ..... I looked and there is already one there...but I looked at the other takeup wheel and that's where it came from. Snapped back on and good to go.
Was vacuuming and found this little plastic gear on the floor. Not usre it came from the printer. JV3 It is 1/2" high. Anyone have any ideas if it fell out of my printer?
dot gain has to be the issue...... I am not sure if we can increase or decrease dot gain values in the rip software...going to look around. Thank you for your input
I am not sure why I always feel that I am supposed to run heat settings at 45c pre heat and 40 c print. I use it basically on all vinyls and scrim banner and seems to work. Where I seem to find an issue is on Grimco's Sihl banner material and other similar types of retractable banner...
I am pretty sure that I experienced head smearing with my printer using reflective.... and that stuff ain't cheap... I was also surprised how well the printer worked with printing on 2ml lam.
