Thank you, but I did have it set as with no fill. I think my problem was that I was printing a "clipped" .bmp with some vector text around it all on clear. I was trying to print it all as CMYK in Omega plot. When I let it print as Spot and CMYK color everything was fine!

I think what's happening is you have some "movement" in the tractor pins. I line up my target and then gently "rock" the vinyl back and forth and the recheck the target, if it's off I re-position the cutting head with the arrow keys. That usually gets the cut right where it should be. I always...

Thanks for the tip but the strap is perfect. It seems to be a heat problem with partial areas of the head not heating the same as the others. I can take a heat gun and bring the shine back to the dull strips but I have to be careful not to "blister" the vinyl when doing this.

Well I changed the data cable and still have the "dull" steaks so I'm fairly sure it's the print head. Has anyone changed their own print head or is this a Gerber only job? Thanks, Bruce Crawford

I'm thinking the print head data cable may be the cause of my printing woes. I have another Edge 2 that I can swap out the cable and see if that's the problem but I have no idea how to go about doing this. I'm hoping that someone here has done this and would be willing to share some insight...
