They don't look too bad.
Anything printed on the latex and cut on the Summa I never expect total accuracy.
I'd work out a way to add more bleed and call it a day.
We sold ours as soon as they announced end of life.
You probably have left your run a bit late for selling it.
Someone may take it off your hands for free though.
HP latex will never print consistent lengths. If we have to print on our 360s and have an exact length we print longer using the
scale adjust setting in onyx, then make sure we cut the job on the Zund at 1:1 which reads the marks then will cut exactly the size in the file.
We're more about doing small to medium size runs quickly so the Colorado is looking like the best fit at the moment.
Quick and easy media changeovers and medium fast print speeds are where it's at for us.
You can't cut full bleed eco sol stickers right away anyway so fail to see how print/cut machines are more convenient.
What do you do.. leave the prints in the machine for 24 hours?
The Epson website has print speeds for these printers
https://www.epson.com.au/Prographics/products/largeformat/DisplaySpecs.asp?id=SureColor-S60600
Max Speed 95.3m²/hr (360 x 720dpi 1 pass)
Billboard Production 52.3m²/hr (720 x 720dpi 2 pass)
Banner Production 29.4m²/hr (720 x 720dpi 4 pass)...
If you're talking about the Epson S60/80 you only have to wait about 2 minutes, tape to the takeup reel, pull the dancer bar forward and it's job done.
I have to agree with most that if you want perfect quality you're best off getting your own printer.
Any trade printer by their nature will maximise output by printing at the fastest acceptable rate.
Don't those big latex printers do a full width pass even if you're only printing on a 36" roll and waste a couple of metres at each end of the print job?
Along with the colour and length variations I'd have to say no thanks.
