  3. Dragster Wrap

Just use a cast vinyl and laminate. Oracal 3751/290, Arlon 6000 xrp/3210, etc. They are typically aluminum bodies, are hard to wrap at all.

ummm know how to use it? what is the problem?
  5. AVERY! You all warned me!

It's heat assisted laminator, not a hot one like you are thinking. And it helps a lot with mottling and silvering. At least in our experience
  6. Multiple Installer setup?

We normally don't have but one installer on a vehicle, definitely not more that two. They will just get in each others way and slow things down. If we do use two, normally they would be working on opposite sides of the vehicle.
  7. Hardest Vehicle Wrap

My advice, don't buy the cheaper china vinyl. It is that much cheaper for a reason. The Avery chrome is more expensive because it is that much of a better product. Does the china chrome even have air egress? Is it cast? I think your going to be in for a "fun" time on this one.
  8. Removal of old bus graphics

We got stuck in a job like this for the military, unwrap and rewrap 2 buses. They won't pay by the hour and required that we submit a quote if we wanted the job. It was either liquid laminate or not laminated on top of that. I thought they had been wrapped for 5+ years, and turned out only a...
  9. Motorbike wraps?

That's my favorite line from customers..."you can put your logo on it if you give me a discount, I know I'll get you a ton of business from this". I bet I hear it almost daily
  10. Motorbike wraps?

Speaking of bike wraps, had a come in today and wanted her bike wrapped like the t-mobile bike in the tv commercials, her bike is blue so it would be a full wrap in black and hot pink. We quoted her like 700, she was like your competitor down the street said they would do it for 250.... They...

  12. Motorbike wraps?

  13. Knifeless Tape Sale for those who use it

Its that green stuff. I'm not sure now if they have anymore. They called me to tell me they were trying to locate more.
  14. Knifeless Tape Sale for those who use it

Just got a flyer from Tubelite for a knife less tape sale. I think it was a really good price $8.20 for 150 ft and $16.36 for 300 ft. Normally its like $40 for the 150 ft rolls. Just thought I'd share for those who use it. They were all out of stock so they are being drop shipped, but for...
  15. Oce' flatbed print then XC-540 cut workflow

If you know exactly how far off it is, which it sounds like you do, you can set the "x" axis offset to your specs, and should be right back on track. It's in versaworks, I think is the cut tab, but don't remember off the top of my head
  16. Holographic business cards

did I mention they are EXPENSIVE!!!!
  17. Holographic business cards

The closest I think you might be able to get would be lenticular. I don't know of a wholesaler of them, but a simple google search of lenticular business cards came up with quite a few results.
  18. Vehicle Wrap design critique...

Thanks for all your help. I never noticed that about the wrench, but now it sticks out once you pointed it out!!
  19. Vehicle Wrap design critique...

Well, we got our new logo design from Neato, and now we are working on wrapping one of our shop vehicles. I worked up a couple quick designs, and just want some opinions on which one you like or maybe some ideas if you don't. Thanks
  20. few questions on truck to trailer boat wraps

Pretty much everything sightline was saying, definately do 1 piece on each side and seal very well. As far as the water line goes, as long as the boat doesn't stay in the water, you can go below the water line. But typically if it stays in the water, it will have bottom paint on it anyway...
