I have had an issue with our valuejet 1604 disconnecting of the network.
I thought I had traced this to a suspect ethernet cable.
I had the network cable taped up against the power cables supporting it.
Last week we had the print room re-floored and had everything disconnected.
This was a good...
For starters change the complete maintenance station for new, even a non original one is fine as it is pointless trying to clean it as it works hard and is key to long print head life.
In fact my last two maintenance stations have not been original items and have lasted longer than the originals...
I have found also that some RIPs heat setting are too high for some banner material.
Turn the heat settings down in the RIP and run at high head height.

I haven't looked on my vehicle outline but I reckon the rear panel is probably too wide for your average printer to print as one piece vertically.
I only print horizontally vehicle wraps if it leaves unsightly joins mid panel.
This is a pet hate of mine and maybe I am being picky but I have seen...
Replace the maintenance station.
This has to be the first thing you do.
Also make sure around the print head is clean as dried ink and debris can affect the seal.
By the looks it is not sealing properly or the head is touching something in the cap and is wicking.
This causes the inks to mix...
I agree that is probably how I would be laying this wrap.
It is typical of a lot of commercial vehicles that really their are no level straights on the vehicle and no line is parralel to the previous!

I have read your post three times now and think I can roughly work out what your saying.
Could you post a picture of the nozzle test?
You can reset the lifetimes for the pump, head and maintenance station in the service menus but I do not think this is part of your problem. But maybe a good...
As far as I am aware the rank number is just too fine tune the head, or it could be something more.
An error 7 message can mean an expired head.
Have you swapped out with a diffent head just to check it is not the cables or slider board?

I think you are going to have to contact your customer and explain the issues.
Also stating that greys printed on any CMYK printer can shift due to the lighting used.
In our print room which has daylight fluorescent tube lighting it seems to show a lot more green but when taken into the...
That is awful it looks like it has been set on fire or been parked in the dessert under a magnifying glass.
I hope the customer realises the paintwork underneath is going to be trashed also.
I personally would send it to a paint shop and have it resprayed, even then I reckon they wouldn't touch...
As far as I know their is only one way to do this, and that is opening in signlab and exporting as pdf.
Just remember that once you have saved it to pdf you cannot edit the text and some of the fades may not be correct as signlab can be a bit fussy with how it converts over.
I would just keep...
I had a similar issue on a van we wrapped this week.
I spent two days setting the grey up as it would swing green or magenta.
The biggest issue this vehicle was for a printing company and should no the issues with printing greys!!

What model of printer.
I reckon head/s are blocked after two weeks of inactivity.
Check that ink is been pulled through as could still be another issue.
Lots of work to get running again.
The heads should have been left sitting in cleaning fluid especially for that length of time.

OMG
He must of rammed the cartridge in to get it stuck.
I reckon no matter what you do you are gonna damage something taking it out.
I have just had a look on an old cartridge and the pin that pierces the cartridges would be out of place and is propably bent if he has managed to get it all the...
Wow I am gobsmacked...
I am getting no where near that sort of match.
I too am trying to work out what you mean "I overprinted with more yellow to increase saturation"
I noticed that your printer has an advantage over mine as my Mutoh Valuejet has 4 colours and your HP L26500 has 6.
Is it...
I would probably guess it is an issue with the o ring damper seal or damaged manifold.
I can't believe the tech did not change at least the seal on the capping station and then maybe the dampers.
These being the cheap parts that normally rectify the issues.
Can you post some picture of the test...
I would check your reader contacts again.
I have now replaced 2 complete sets of these due to them failing and the only way to check correctly is removing.
You probably have a short on one of the contacts causing this issue.
They fail even more due to the way bulk ink systems create a contact...
