  1. Flexi drives me nuts with this

Just curious, was the view in the print preview window pre or post ripping?
  2. HP L560

For those of you opening the curing door at the start of a print, is there a catch to keep it up or do you have to actually hold it open?
  3. Feedback On This Automated Grommet Machine

We don't do enough banners to justify buying one of those. Did just pick up a pneumatic one and that has been a huge time saver. Nice side perk is that my little sister can't say she doesn't have the strength to set grommets anymore either.
  4. If You Have A Latex 300 Series You Will Want This...

Just need to find one for the 500 series printers now. The SM for the L25500 saved me a bunch on service calls.
  5. Storing Away The L310

FWIW, the HP guy on the webcast thing I saw last month swears that they just shutdown their trade show units, box them up, and let them sit until the next show. Most times don't need to replace printheads when they fire back up. Just passing on his story, no idea if its the best course of action.
  6. Opaque Window Decals

How opaque? Could it of been printed on something that can print white, like a Gerber or Summa?
  7. Flexi 10.5 Vs Flexi Cloud

We personally, will not go Cloud. I would rather pay the large upfront fee and be able to continue using the software, in its current state, as long as it functions for my needs. My $.02.
  8. New HP Latex Printer Model

Three's a line between saying our printer can do this and our competitor can't. I also have to give kudo points to a company who is willing to admit that their product isn't the best in a certain area. Watched an Epson online seminar Friday. Epson rep specifically said that if scratch...
  9. Suggestions Low Maintenance Sticker Printer

Consider the Summa DC line too, same principle as the Gerber, just a different format, each has its advantages.
  10. Odd Color Shift On Hp 360

That's a concern when looking at picking up a L560, since it shares so much with the 360. Sure its something you can adapt to (using CMYK) but that's adding a bit to setup. That;s fine when I am here, but when I leave for a week or two at a time and others in the shop need to be able to use the...
  11. Need Help Ready To Upgrade - Not Sure Direction... Solvent, Latex, Other...

In the same "what to get" boat too. Looking at an S80600 or L560. Something we will live with for several years so making the right decision as what works for us is important.
  12. Summa OPOS tips

This is just from my experience, and maybe someone else knows different, but I don't think you can barcode through Summa's own software. I have never seen a way to do it in SCC, thus it wouldn't be available in SWP. Kind of funny that one of the most powerful features of their plotter is only...
  13. I Have This One But What Is It?!!

I use Find My Font www.findmyfont.com
  14. What Are You Guys Jamming To Latelly

I was going to throw that one up here, heard it last year and love it.
  15. 4over Banner Quality

Like others have said above, they produce at high speed rather then worrying about absolute quality. I have a couple of their banners we printed for a local youth group, forgot to grab one I had at home this morning. I can post a picture of the banner later today if you are interested.
  16. HP L560

That is slightly concerning. Know there will be new things to adapt to with a new printer, versus our L25500, but with the exception of a few cranky substrates, I never have to have the media extended beyond the heater area. Like the idea of staying with an HP, guess I need to track one down to...
  17. Double strike white issue

Didn't know if anyone has some tips for double striking a multi-pass white job so that you can get a good solid color. The issue I am facing is that the pass lines are extremely noticeable. You know you can always see them on any color in the right light, but with this white ribbon the output...
  18. Need Help HP l25500

Having that service manual for the L25500 has been a life saver. Hope I can find one for my next printer.
  19. Summa OPOS tips

Didn't see your other post, not sure which part of the process you need help with, OPOS barcode is on the cutter tab in RIP and Print, under Options once you select OPOS. Now when you load it to cut, you still have to send the jobs in the order that they are printed, which shouldn't be a problem...
