  1. Coreldraw 2019

We haven't upgraded from X7 for the same reviews. Many are having trouble with it. Sluggish, quit responding, etc. Guess we'll be waiting for the 2020 version.
  2. Need Help 2 sided printing

Just saying, being in the sign industry we would not use terms such as "vinyl" to describe "banner" nor would we refer to any rigid substrate as "banner". Yes, I agree that any long run of double-sided printing would be best for a more accurate method than the HP's. Even a 12ft single-sided...
  3. How would one go about recreating this?

Pretty darn close. But see how towards the North and South the row of circles seem to be on an arc. I believe it's more "true" this way but the one I have seems to be more horizontal.
  4. How would one go about recreating this?

Thank you Vector Doctor I feel so much better now! Even though I hate illustrator i shall give it a whirl. :dog42:
  5. How would one go about recreating this?

Tried CorelDRAW envelope but still not as exact as I'd expect. Tried quick trace too. Still not accurate enough. Possibly a 3D program? Maybe a plug-in or macro? Ought to be a way to create a grid of circles then fit them to a globe or sphere shape. Although this one seems to only follow...
  6. Discussion I would like a forum to brag

I've done 90% of the signs in this town. Just ask my wife. lol She's sick of me pointing and jumping into unrelated conversations with "hah, I just did that sign"
  7. Need Help 2 sided printing

We run an HP with Flexi RIP. It has a decent procedure for double-sided printing feature but we usually only run 1 at a time. We do one layout with fold & trim lines along with dots for grommets. Then a "side B" with no marks but include a white outlined rectangle to keep the size right. Vinyl...
  8. Is it O' Beer thirty yet?

I say, is it O' Beer thirty yet?
  9. It's finally the weekend!

Awesome! Our local High School, from which my wife and 4 of our 5 sons graduated from, got knocked out of regionals last Friday night. They went to State in 2015. I, too, am looking forward to some down time. My co-hort and only other designer had knee surgery last week which left me to cover...
  10. Cutting Master 4 question about recognition marks

Cutting Master probably works by using macros anyway. All you have to do is find the code and see about "modifying" it. Or post a snip here and others can help. From Corel open macro manager (Alt+shift+F11) Use the windows "snipping tool" and marquee an area to capture the list, copy and paste...
  11. Cutting Master 4 question about recognition marks

You should be able to make your own macro to do this like I did. Not coded the best way but it works great for my purpose. All you need to know is what type of marks you need. Inside/outside, outline thickness, layer name, etc.
  12. Bleed of multicolor object

bleed had to be done manually. Method depends on what program you use. Pretty much the same process just different terminology. "stroke" = Adobe "outline" = CorelDRAW "gradient fill" = Adobe "fountain fill" = CorelDRAW "clipping mask" = Adobe "powerclip" = CorelDRAW

  15. My blues are crp.

Hated the HP360 since the first day we set it up. Still hate it.
  16. My blues are crp.

To blame in order 1. HP 360 2. Flexi 19 We also had to "roll back" to Flexi 12 for many of the same issues and on the advice of SAI.
