I'm confused as to what the Flexi/Ethernet ip setting is. Currently it looks like you have it the same as the PC which may or may not be correct. If you're setting it in Flexi as your "host address" I'm assuming it's the PC flexi is on... might be better off changing that to 127.0.0.1, but I...
In that case... the router doesn't need to be connected to the new switch at all. You would need to setup static ip addresses on your printer and your computer (which you probably already have for the crossover connection).
no.. what he's saying is take the cable running to your PC from your router and plug it into the new switch. Then take two new cords and run one from the switch to your PC and one from the switch to your printer.
need to upgrade the onyx on the HP for G7... but yes that may help once I can build proper curves for it.
I still don't know why certain profiles are fine and certain ones shift purple... should be all built from the same base.
I've had issues with certain profiles looking purple on my grays as well (was doing some Briteline window clings last week with the issue)... haven't really found a good work around for it.
In CutMaster, the cutting "type" is different from the condition settings so I'm not sure if Flexi works the same way. Condition is only speed/force/acceleration/offset at the machine level.
when I was looking at getting an Afinia label printer, I could get 8" rolls from the dealer selling it. My local dealer was Vivid Data, but I'm sure whoever the local Afinia dealer for you could also source them (or maybe through Afinia direct).
True with what Adam said... you can feel if the pump is functioning properly by touching it. Light vibration good, no vibration bad, heavy vibration means the impeller is on the way out and will be bad. Kinda wish we had waited 6 months for the 16h as it sounds much nicer, but we didn't even...
Yeah I've run roll stock before just not like this. These are solid coverage banners so hopefully it'll run fine. I need to find that head sweep setting in the parameters now though! thanks for thta.
Anyone using the H1625 for doing long run work? I've primarily only ever used it for running rigid substrates and the occasional banner that won't fit on my 54" HP, so I've never really run anything longer than 10 feet. I've got a project in shop where I'll need to be running full rolls of...
Afinia makes a decent setup for "low cost" entry. We looked at the L801 (which I think has been replaced by the L901) and their cutter solution to put in here and demo'd it for a bit. Printer worked great, the cutter/laminator piece was a bit more of a bear to operate. We ended up not going that...
