I typically up my pressure from my test print / cut, as it changes for some reason. If you are finding it is shifting, then adjust the calibration in the cutting menu so that as it goes it goes off a little to compensate.
Have you played around with the calibration settings? you should be able to adjust to be closer, so that as it goes it will shift a little to compensate.
You might be able to save a couple hundred going to sign-in-china, but it's still going to be around 2K. Also, make sure you do your research on the BN-20, as it is very slow, don't have a heater and in my opinion, useless, be better of with an old SP-300V.
I'm not familiar with these printers, but if they are anything like My Roland's, it could be the dampers or cap tops. I would also make sure the ink cartridge doesn't have a negative suction on it either.
If you don't have the ability to put it in it's own room out of the way from all the hustle and bustle, then maybe try putting up tarp walls or something to protect the area, and get one of those smoke eater things to take out the dust particles. But the best solution would be to put it in a...
As far as I know, if your computer completely shut down, then no, there wouldn't be any other way then restarting it, unless you wanted to splice 2 pieces together, you could send a new file with a little more then the area it didn't print then try to put both pieces together, but it all depends...
I'm Option B as well. Although I'm a graphic designer, I am human and can make errors, with a nice designer tool, it helps minimize errors and getting what you need. Although I always add bleeds to anything that needs it, all my suppliers have never complained and their designer tool always...
Typically depending on how bad the nozzle deflection is you can play around with the adjustments to minimize the banding, that looks to be the biggest issue you have, I also notice a little overspray, which is probably from the deflecting nozzles. But you may be able to minimize by reducing...
Could be due to lack of use, I've heard UV printers need to be used on a regular basis to stay in top shape. But I just noticed the nozzle test and there is a bit of deflection in some of those nozzles, my guess is that is at least part of the problem. Have you adjusted the alignment recently to...
Oh, that for sure sounds like a network issue. make sure you have the correct IP (you can check that on the machine). But if it works for the XR, try it on the GR's too.
One last thing I'd suggest if you haven't already tried, run a new ethernet cord, restart both the print and Versaworks and try that. Also, just to confirm, the other machines are still working correct, just your XR is giving troubles?
This might be a stupid question, but... Have you tried plugging directly into the computer to rule out the hub being the problem? Or might be a power issue if you power bar keeps tripping.
