If the dampers are bad the ink will roll back into the lines. Get new dampers, screw them onto the line then flip them upside down and suck ink through the bottom to prime them. Priming gets most the air out of the dampers and sets the correct pressure. Plug them into the head. Try to pull...
There will be a small metal screw that came with the printer (under it) that will lock the head in place just like your blue bracket on your roland. I would never put that printer in a enclosed trailer unless you had all the original packing if you have a long distance to go.
The rolling is prediction of next crop mark alignment due to loading the material at the wrong angle as crny1 has said. The only other time we have seen this is in a copy and paste situation where the cut file being used is not the correct cut file (but extremely close).....usually in a...
Try putting just the first half of the crop mark on the strip. Also use .5 inch marks if possible. This is usually caused from improper loading of material.
Mr. Gentile,
I would be interested as well. Was a member on here since 08, this is our second account. So much potential here just needs a little more monitoring. Will send a PM here later after orders are pressed out for the day.
Just as a heads up. Unless something has changed and I am wrong. The warranty will not transfer to the second owner of the equipment. That is part of the reason for the steep price decline even in "like new condition". Mutoh and many of the manufactures don't like to tell people this until it's...
People were unloading these VG on eBay way too quick after release. There are some on there now. The Soljet Pro II and Pro III were extremely solid machines and it's a shame the VS series on up has had a lot of issues. The single head epson head setup was the dumbest idea ever. Roland went back...
If you have a USB cable over 14-15 ft without a power adapter (not a conversion adapter) you will run into issues. You are sending data. Some adapters can work but some adapters are simply not compatible due to poor quality or requiring a driver to work with certain OS.
On another note we...
Odds are you have either a bad damper or cracked print head manifold or both. When you go to replace the dampers on that machine make sure to charge them with ink. Install new damper, hold upside down and take a syringe and pull ink through the damper until most the air is out and is filled with...
Get on eBay there are Chinese sellers who still have heads for these. Personally I would just buy 1 print head to test your boards before you drop another $200- $400 plus into the second print head. All the DX2 print heads were solvent resistant.
Here is a chinese seller on ebay selling a...
Like any roland print head change make sure your power is off and not connected to the wall or you can start blowing fuses. Also do not let any liquid get on the cables or cable ends. Don't get ink on the inside of any new print head connector as well. It's good practice to hit the power button...
Check to make sure the small connector or cable is plugged in correctly to the carriage board on the cutter head first. Sometimes they get disconnected when replacing other parts especially the clear plastic carriage strips that protect the cables. If you have a ton of hours on it the head could...
It can be a little tricky if you have never done it.Remove the 1 screw and spring pull slightly forward, rotate clockwise slightly and pull out. If you have never re-installed one before it can take some moving around in position to get it to sit right. That machine is extremely old and...
First and foremost if your not a multiple printer outfit you want to see how fast you can get service.
Find out the distance what dealer is closest to you!!
1: Call them and ask what is the estimate time to get my printer repaired if I buy a new one from you. If your punching out that many...
The odds are your rubber hose going to the pump is clogged. The one to the left looks empty making me believe the pump is not clogged up cause the two left cap tops are tied to the same pump. Get the carriage off the heads like you have in this photo. Disconnect from pump that clogged magenta...
Unless they changed something. The $20 is design only version. $59 is Month to Month Design, Print, Cut Flexi 12. You will never own it paying like this. You need to buy the dongle version of Flexi 12 which is a couple thousand. Then you will own it but you will also have to pay for upgrades...
When you go to create a profile in Flexi 12 the first tab has a small box that ask you if you want to measure the gray balance. We had problems with the profile in certain gradients especially black to white when we didn't measure this with our X-rite device. So it could be a profile issue. If...
That is even more confusing if it's a native Flexi design. Maybe you need to create a new profile and create a gray balance scan? Side note depending on how we save out of Illustrator I know we loose random strokes too sometimes when bringing into Flexi 12.
We had the same problem. We noticed if we open the PDF in Flexi 12 Designer then sent to PM they were fine. If we try to import file directly to PM our gradients were not smooth and very grainy. We don't know what the fix is to import directly into PM to resolve this.
Eahicks are you guys still having de-lamination issues with your Latex machine as mentioned in this post?
HP 360 de-lamination issues
The latex vs solvent will be a constant debate. It all depends on the shops position, needs and market availability. One of the factors we consider revolving...
