The disaster relief funds are a total scam. Look at Katrina everyone including Mcdonalds had money collection jars. Then drive down there and it's still a ghost town in certain areas. The fema trailers still pop up on craigslist for sale too. I would drive there to help in person before I ever...
You may be able to by making a profile as a VP540 configuration but I am not %100 sure. You are able to actually use orange and green inks with all soljets if you create a CMYKOG profile through the SC540 profile creation process. This can be done on Flexi 12. Caldera will allow you to use...
Clean the heads with lint-free swabs and clear cleaning solution from Roland.
Clean the Encoder Strip.
Make sure head height is on low or the correct height. If head is too high you can get over spray.
Honestly you are probably looking at needing 1-2 print heads. Order them off sign-in-china...
Summa DC5 spot color and eco solvent. Probably Epson with orange ink or Mimaki with Orange ink also depending on the file. Summa sqft cost is extremely high. There are other ways to get this but this is the most common. Just order a set and take it apart if you really want to tell. Much cheaper...
Head fuse on main board needs replaced. If it blows again replace cable. If you dropped ink on the ribbon and it rolled down to pins replace fuse and cable at same time but make sure the ink is not wet on the print head connector. If it still shows signs of this then your head is probably toast.
Call your dealer and have them come over with X-Rite Equipment and teach you how to profile the machine correctly. If they can't square up the issue via profile the VS/VSi lineup have been known to show a perfect test print but after using them a fair amount they get printing issues because the...
Get the monthly version of Illustrator CC and a subscription to Lynda.com the tutorials on there are a goldmine. I would not buy Adobe Illustrator CS6. I would not get a RIP that does not offer cut order optimization for cutters and the latest Adobe Print engine available.
We bought that package. We bought some templates from moto sports patentagosse mentioned and the hunts templates package. I attached an example of a KX125/250 front number plate you would get in that package (it's actually a stolen hunts template) . You can see how horrible it has been drawn...
It's a garbage set. It's a combined mix of a few decent templates with a majority of bad templates and templates incorrectly organized. You will spend more time re-designing-re-printing and re-shipping if you try to base your new business venture off them. Make your own templates if you want to...
I can't answer your question but we have been having a lot of problems with Flexi 12 designer & Adobe Illustrator CS6/CC files turning strokes into gradients randomly. We have also had the text and logos change colors randomly but the stroke on them sometimes stay the same. Our files are 50-80...
Because it never needs to roll backwards when it needs to roll forwards. If you stand behind the machine then it will still always roll forward. If your back is facing the machine it will still roll forward unless you are not looking over your shoulder. Has to be the right shoulder though. If...
Switch to Flexi Cloud and pick up a used X-Rite Device online. Flexi is on a subscription based model now so no huge investment if you don't like it. Flexi has it's own wizard that just requires a device to plug into the computer and will run all your devices.
