We see many of these heads being damaged by the screws that hold the capping station in place. In time the screw will back out or move up due to the plastic warping for the solvents in the inks. Get a flash light and inspect the bottom of the head.

Bordeaux 220 cartridges for Rolands
If you have passed on trying Bordeaux inks because they only came in 440 ml cartridges, we now have them in 220ml cartridges for Roland Versacamm printers.

Training
We get trained today by the Mimaki tech flown in for the install. He spent a couple days setting it up and had no problem with us looking over his shoulder. The printer uses Ricoh heads which they keep I stock, along with other service parts. We had an issue with one of the pumps...

Dx 5
You can no longer use a desk top DX5 for large format. You will also want to make sure you get a solvent DX5 head. The price you were quoted is not that bad if it comes with a warranty.
Ink not draining
You may want to change the cap top. If that does not solve the problem you will need to check the tubes in the maintenance station and see if there is a clog in the waste lines. This is best done with the station out of the printer.
