  1. What next after JV33?

I have an Epson S80 and love it! My previous printers are the HP Latex. I just love the color and print quality I get from the Epson.
  2. Throw away laminator

Wish I would have seen this sooner. I have one I am trying to sell off.
  3. Laminator- 60+in...

I have a 65" heat assist one for sale. It has some small cuts in the roller, but works just fine. Doesn't leave any marks in the laminate. I just upgraded to a newer model.
  4. Laminate for UV Prints?

I have been using and really liking Hexis media lately. They have one too that I am going to give a try.
  5. Printer to direct print to Coroplast, Mutoh 1638UV didn't work

I have thought about it, more so for the finished look. I will have to give that a try to see how it works.
  6. Printer to direct print to Coroplast, Mutoh 1638UV didn't work

I went with the Fuji Acuity LED 1600. I am loving it!! I won't say it's perfect but I would highly recommend it for getting into a flatbed. I had several roll medias that I wanted to print on, which is why I wanted a hybrid. For coroplast, I have had the best luck using an adhesion promoter. I...
  7. Perforated Window Vinyl viewed from the back

You can get a window perf that doesn't have adhesive, meant to be installed on the inside of the glass with 2-sided tape along the top and bottom. I believe Fellers and Grimco have it. The one I used is a 80/20 pattern, so it should give them some good privacy.
  8. Suggestions HP Latex 570 or Epson 80600

What are you going to be printing the most of? I have had several HP Latex and now have and Epson S70 and S80. I LOVE them!
  9. Hexis distributors in USA

Platinum Sign Supply in CA is who I order mine from. SID Signs in Florida is also a distributor.
  10. EPSON s80600 Double Sided banner printing

I actually went from several HP's. The L25500 through the L360. I have since switched to Epson. First the S70, now I have added the S80. I LOVE the print quality. They both have pros and cons. I am a one man shop and print quality was my #1 decision maker, which is why I went with Epson's. I am...
  11. Roll to Roll Printers for Backlit?

My Fuji does some amazing backlit prints, being able to do color/white/color in one pass. Although, when doing that, it does slow it down and use a bit of ink. Depends on the intended use. To get a good backlit print on my Epson S80, I have to double pass print and when doing that, I also put a...
  12. EPSON s80600 Double Sided banner printing

I have done individual ones on mine. They turned out Very accurate! I was impressed. For some reason, my RIP doesn't totally center the print, so I just had two play around a little to get it centered on the second side. Was easy to through.
  13. Does a UV print is a better quality than latex or solvent print?

I have been VERY impressed with the quality of my Fuji Acuity LED1600. My other printers are an Epson S70 and S80, so I am picky when it comes to print quality. Obviously, it's not as good as the Epson's, but that's a given since they have different intended purposes. The Fuji I have also is 6...
  14. Need Help Roland VS Epson

I have the S70 and S80 and love them! I use Caldera and highly recommend it!
  15. Need Help Roland VS Epson

Once you go to a separate printer and cutter, you will wonder why you ever had a single unit in the first place!! The speed to due things is so much faster! 95% of what I do is laminated, so it has to come out, then get loaded back up anyways. I have a S70 and a S80 and LOVE them!! Go with the...
  16. Hp Latex 370, Double Sided Prints

I had decent luck on the 360 I used to have. It was never 100% on, but was totally fine once the one side was hemmed. I have also done them manually with my Epson and Fuji too. They actually were closer to being dead on, but just took a little measuring to get the back side started. Which only...
  17. where to find this

I would think Gemini would have them.
  18. Epson S60600 VS Seiko Color Painter M-64S

There is a smell of course, but I don't think it's that bad. I think the smell from the S70 is a lot stronger. The part of my shop with the printers is about 1500 square feet with 14' ceilings. I have the 2 Epson's and a LED UV printer in it. It both epson's are cranking out heavy coverage it...
  19. Epson S60600 VS Seiko Color Painter M-64S

I use the latest version of Caldera with mine. I have had my S80 for about 8 months. I also have a S70 that I have had for about 2 years. Both have been great machines. I like them better than my latex printers. The instant dry feature wasn't a huge deal for me. I think the quality is way...
  20. Epson S60600 VS Seiko Color Painter M-64S

I still love my Epson S80! The colors are amazing and the amount of cleaning really isn't much different than the HP 360 I had before it.
