I still say it is personal preference on the solvent vs. latex debate. I have had both and now back to (2) Epson Solvent machines. Although I have also just purchased a Fuji UV hybrid. There is a service report that can be generated on the latex from the web server. I would take a look at that...
That is definitely overkill for just moving a printer. Normally they say only worry about that if it will be sitting for days without any power. Like what was mentioned, lock the carriage down, strap it down good, then plug it back in and do a cleaning/nozzle check and you should be good to go.
I just run a 1" wide piece of transfer tape along where the sensor reads the barcode. Then the clear film has a white back to go against. Works great for me.
I know when I looked at the 360/370, you had to be going through quite a bit of ink to make up the extra cost they charge you go get the "bulk ink" model.
I have had mine since October. It seems about the same as any other printer I have had. If your goal is quality and color gamut, this is the printer. The quality is amazing!
Mine is too, I was just curious if anyone knew of hand. They said to shut it off and it should go away, which it did. Otherwise I tech would have to come out. It was actually #00002000
