Latex is good and bad.
IMO an eco solv can still be better as you can run More media thru it than you can the latex. Lesser grade vinyl banner and such do not work on the latex. Lately even ultraflexx banner has been sub-par on my latex as evidenced when printing items with a fair amount of...
We have the ability to run 3 ways in our shop depending on the client's needs
Double hit on our solvent is easiest to do...but least flexible as far as the color goes. We have the ability to lay slightly different density of ink in this case though and still looks great for certain...
Bad call on the IJ 35 there. Have to agree...IJ 40 wouldve been a little better but not much. We ALWAYS use cast on vehicles unless they want cheapie bumper stickers or the like.
We have recently had a slew of clients wanting to mount interior to glass. Using a clear removable and back laminating with white calendared vinyl. Otherwise, for outside on glass Arlon 4500GX has been good with the air egress, clear adhesive and white vinyl.

I just printed the banner....this guy who I quoted installed it himself. I made suggestions about anchoring it to the building in multiple ways....doing mesh...etc. Nothing I said sold this guy on it the proven trusted methods and wound up doing it his own way.
So...get this email today about a banner we did back in december.
"The large client banner which your company, Wyld Grand Format Printing supplied, has been ruined due directly or indirectly to the failure of your shop installed grommets to hold the banner securely against wind gusts. The...
Maybe try a 3mil high gloss Polyester lam. Its tough as nails. After applying, do the graphics on top of that possibly. Worth a shot there. I think the adhesive for the polyester will hold up to the UV inks if you dont have much ink load on the board.
Here in parts of NJ....snow makes people dumber. 2-3 inches and people panic. I went to school in Syracuse....I know what snow is like and loved it there.
