  4. Vinyl zapper weirdness...

I don't have any personal experience to share, but a few people on here have said how well the wallpaper steamers work. I purchased one but haven't used it yet. You can pick them up from Home Depot. Might be a good place to start...maybe get someone started with that method while you explore the...

  6. Installation of backlit banner material in a Gas Station Pylon sign frame

Pretty sure it's a Proveer extrusion for rigid faces.
  7. Long dealing with tire kickers....

You should have just turned your computer on, waited for it to boot up, then as soon as it played the boot-up music, asked "Will that be cash or charge?"
  8. Installation of backlit banner material in a Gas Station Pylon sign frame

Fun, fun... They're typically referred to as "flex faces", just FYI. There should be an existing tensioning system unless the other company removed all of the clips? Typically the "frame" isn't removed. Any photos?
  9. Long dealing with tire kickers....

Whatever you do, try to give them some 'pop'.

  12. .125 Mill aluminum, What epoxy?

Yeah, I think they have close to 40 different VHB tapes now. The tapes are also supposed to prevent corrosion, so that should be a non-issue. Pick up some 4941 or 5952....or call 3M and give them the details of the job and they can recommend one to you. Their tech support is incredibly helpful.
  13. Crazy what some people get away with.

I wouldn't necessarily assume a sign guy did this. It wouldn't be the first time a business owner put up his own sign. And when they do - they usually look like that one.
  14. .125 Mill aluminum, What epoxy?

It's used all of the time on mill finish on huge cabinet signs, etc. Buy the right VHB and you'll be fine.
  15. .125 Mill aluminum, What epoxy?

I'm not sure what the design of the sign is, but two aluminum plates adhered with VHB tape are incredibly difficult to separate.
  16. Print hours

Have you contacted the manufacturer? Surely they have a tech support department.
  17. Crazy what some people get away with.

Needs to be taken down and put in that large grassy area across the street.
  18. good place for raceways?

Not sure about up around you, but Eastern Metal Supply (click/click) and ABC (click/click) are great to work with, have great products and reasonable prices. (If you call EMSCO, ask for Krishna....she's a trip).
