  1. Roland Sp540v Print Head Issue

I agree with solventinkjet. Try all that, and if for some reason it still not perfect, do another head soak, but let it sit all weekend and try again Monday morning. If it still isn't perfect, you can always try putting a syringe on the cap top lines and trying to pull ink through, it sometimes...
  2. Roland VS300i shows all 8 color as Wrong Cartridge, it they just keep blinking

Not exactly sure, but did you try put cleaning cartridges without the color chip in the slots, you may have somehow made it want to clean out the lines. If not, try and see. I have a VS-300i and never has this type of message.
  3. Roland SP540v Banding

To add another point, did you clean the scraper, that piece that scraps off the wipers, we have 2 SP-300V's and they tend to build up dried ink on the scraper over time. I know it won't solve your current problem, but will help with keeping things cleaner moving forward. Based on that test...
  4. fountain fill in one point

If in your file it's currently setup as a gradient layer, you should be able to select it and alter it in the gradient adjustment tab by moving the color points so they fit in the correct area for you.
  5. fountain fill in one point

I'm not familiar with Corel anymore, but I believe it is very similar to adjust the gradient or separate the colors in separate objects..
  6. fountain fill in one point

If you're using illustrator to create / adjust the file, you'll need to play with the points in the gradient so they line up like you want or make separate layers for each color and line them up that way. It may be the same for corel, but not certain, as I haven't used that program in years.
  7. Doming Resin

We get our from Demak in large barrels, as we use large quantities, might be worth checking with them. We use their 24 hour full cure stuff, but they have different types depending on your use. Thanks,
  8. Confused machine

Did you make sure everything is correctly / properly connected, it could be possible something came loose.
  9. Need Help SP-540v Gaps in Cyan Ink Output

That would explain it, we've had that happen due to the heat too. I'd recommend having an air conditioner, even if portable in the room with the printer, as well as a de-humidifier. This combo has greatly reduced the material causing us issues.
  10. Need Help SP-540v Gaps in Cyan Ink Output

No problem, however if this is a result of a head strike, you will need to replace the head, as there is no bringing it back, to get it to print properly and cleanly, but it will help prevent it from happening again if you try those steps I mentioned earlier.
  11. Print profile for semi-rigid

Have you tried SG-G Semi-Gloss Gray Glue Profile, it has worked for almost all the medias we've used.
  12. Need Help SP-540v Gaps in Cyan Ink Output

I wouldn't rule out a head strike, as it could just effect one color depending where it hit, and as the black is the outer color, it makes sense, as we recently experienced a similar issue with our SG-300, and the cause was decided it was due to a head strike, even though no one saw it happen...
  13. Greetings from NJ

    Welcome.
  14. Need Help SP-540v Gaps in Cyan Ink Output

It could be due to a head strike, which kind of sounds like it might be the case if it's happening with 2 printers. One thing to do is use the media clamps and keep the vacuum power on high. Also if you're noticing the media isn't laying down very well, you might need to clean out the vacuum fan.
  15. Non metallized chrome vinyl

This particular vinyl is from X-Film and the series is called JETREX. That photo I showed was of silver, but they use to have a chrome option too. We no longer buy this material, so I cannot tell you where to buy it.
  16. Need Help SP-540v Gaps in Cyan Ink Output

Is that photo from the results you are getting today? If so, it's still really rough on the black.
  17. Non metallized chrome vinyl

    Was it something like this?
  18. Need Help Head and colour problems. Please help!!

Glad to hear you were able to resolve your issue.
  19. Need Help Roland bn-20 inconsistent cuts

Have you tried cutting without laminate on to see how it does with a new blade and cutting strip? I'm thinking it may be too thick for the machine, as the BN-20, as far as I'm aware wasn't made for that kind of use, it's the lower end model for hobby sorts more then anything.
  20. After market ink for roland lej640 uv

When it comes to 3rd party inks, the common issues are gumming up or pigment variations, if going 3rd party, make sure it's a high quality brand and that the colors match.
