  1. Vinyl Bunching Up?

Is the vinyl seperating from the liner or is the vinyl AND liner bunching up? We had a similar problem with the vinyl seperating from the liner and bunching up near the roller - turned the heat down and it was fine.
  2. Roland or third party wipers?

Jesus...I pay $6.90 each for my wipers...and they're aftermarket rubber, and they work flawless. I think assuming all aftermarket wipers don't work is a bit uneducated.
  3. Full window vinyl install...

hour and a half should be fine.
  4. Full window vinyl install...

If I had a choice, I'd print it on non-air channel and install wet.
  5. Full window vinyl install...

Assuming you are asking how much time it'll take me to install a 100"x66" full coverage print on a flat window...assuming about 2 pieces. it'd take me an hour to an hour and a half with a second set of hands. I'd install wet and cut along the edges with a big ruler and knife if I needed to...
  6. Roland or third party wipers?

I use aftermarket WHITE rubber wipers - couldn't tell you the brand cuz I don't know...I don't use them cuz I save money, I use them because they last about three times as long as the roland ones...and they were recommended to me by a few techs.
  7. out of ink

could it maybe be a bad chip on the ink cartridge? Do you have an old (or new) magenta cartridge you can take the chip off of and put it on that one to see if it goes away?
  8. BN-20 cutting WAY off. . .

DAMNIT, ur telling me I was wrong?! THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! Glad to hear it's fixed...BUT for the record, reflective with crop marks is a little tough with bright lit rooms. If it occurs again, look into that.
  9. Oracal 631 vs 3628 and Oracal 651 vs 3164

3164 should hold up just fine for outdoor die-cut stickers (not signs, and long term stuff).
  10. XC-540 Overspray! I Need Help!!!!

Wow, you are just full of useless information...
  11. Oracal 631 vs 3628 and Oracal 651 vs 3164

IF your only options are 651 or 3164, you should use 651 for outdoor...otherwise 3165 if you can get it. 3164 would be a good replacement for print/cut decals.
  12. BN-20 cutting WAY off. . .

Did u listen to what I said? If I were you I'd first print and load a piece of WHITE vinyl in there and see if the cut reads properly. If it does, then the problem is the reflective material in a bright room -- turn the lights down low while it's reading the registration marks.... Or don't try...
  13. BN-20 cutting WAY off. . .

I've HEARD reflective material has hard time reading registration marks if the lighting is high in the room (because of the reflection). Try turning the lights down real low when you're reading the registration marks and see if that helps...
  14. XC-540 Overspray! I Need Help!!!!

Ours did that A LOT before we put it on a surge protector. Blurry blurry prints. We'd have to unplug all the time. Now we haven't had a problem since.
  15. XC-540 Overspray! I Need Help!!!!

    nevermind...just read above...head height.
  16. Return to Origin Point after printing?

eeek....I usually load the vinyl then back the vinyl all the way back until it won't go any further. It's saved me a couple of times....I know that if a sheet of stickers stops printing for whatever reason halfway through, I can set to cut only and back the vinyl all the way back up and atleast...
  17. New Vworks update?

This time can we do without the q & a during the middle of the webinar? Maybe put that section at the very end? I tried following along two seperate webinars on different occasions and eventually shut them off because of the ridiculous questions being asked - like it was everyone's very first...
  18. Printed vinyl durability

I like to say 5-6 years...it'll probably last 10, but it won't look very good by then.
  19. Versa Camm SP540 - Lines in the prints, please help

hmmm I think I said that....what'd I win?!?! :) Most profiles have a feed setting built in...a lot of times we use the feed that's built into the profile and it works fine. Why are you printing vinyl with generic banner profile though? That's completely wrong...try Glossy Vinyl profile.
  20. Bathroom supplies.............................
