You need to call the tech back out and tell him to finish the job! That's absolutely ABSURD!!!!! Our techs here in Portland are AWESOME and would never ever do that.

If the cable is too tight it will cause the motor to fail...some things are left better alone for a tech, but doesn't sound like your tech is very helpful. Didn't he bother to test print anything after he installed the new motor?

Headstrikes....define....it's catching the side of the media and stopping the head completely or the head is just skimming the media as it passes by cuz it's puffed up? Can you drop temperature on the print surface and leave the after heater up? On some materials we have to let the media heat...
