  2. Need Help Reduce Space Between Print Jobs

Unfortunately not, one thing that might help if you set multiple copies in the "general printing" panel (where you can set up distances down to 0) not in the "execution" panel or use "arrangement" panel to nest multiple jobs

  4. MIMAKI CJV150 tracking

Mimaki is a great machine with the shittiest software ever. I literally had to enter random numbers both in color alignment settings (for all 8 colors !!!!!!) to get a perfect print and one of the cut accuracy number had to be done in a trial and error style without any logic. The good thing is...
  5. Illustrator Help

What does it mean "saved as a print file", if that's a RIP archive then this is not an "Illustrator Question" and this should be an inexpensive lesson to always save the original file in editable format. Check proof sent to the client, if the designer was bad enough that'll contain the original...
  6. Best shop set up for large print runs?

You don't need templates, your bleed is the overlap if you select it when saving your PDF
  7. Best shop set up for large print runs?

Doing it "manually" takes 2 seconds more, it's really just drawing the artboards everything else is just as automated, overlap, cut marks etc. The benefit is that you'll have a set up file on the PC, ready to print or reprint if needed while you'll need to delete from the rip sooner or later...

  9. Best shop set up for large print runs?

I always set up my files in illustrator and save as PDF, the artboards are your tiles, the bleed is your overlap, save as pdf send it to RIP, done. I don't like setting it up in RIP as I worked with many brands and don't want to learn a new one every time there's a new printer. Plus you can...

  13. CMKY/pantone Sending artwork for outsource digital printing

You should check your facts Boudica, 1. printers print somewhere between CMYK and RGB color space, even though your inks are called "CMYK" - I know it's confusing but try to print a photo directly from rip and then imported to a cmyk file 2. extra color inks like light magenta, light blue...
  14. CJV30-130 Cross contaminating colors, but wait there's more!

Sound like the metal plate (bottom of the printhead) separated from the ink channels. That forms a cavity where ink can mix and flow out on the side instead of the nozzles, unfortunately that's not something that can be repaired.
  15. Mimaki/FineCut - Decrease Space Between Marks

Yes you did, noticed and reprinted. Didn't you? :roflmao:

  17. Need Help Roland VG2-640 Scan Interval not working properly?

On my Mimaki if I set the interval too high it'll just ignore it. You can increase printing time if you set your print head speed to low / use unidirectional / higher step count.
  18. Roland GS-24 misses first cut on every start of cut job

I have the same problem with my colleague, he starts speaking before hes brain engages. Sorry I know that's not helpful (nor is my colleague). Ok I'll stop. Try a different computer, try a different USB port, a different USB cable.
