I know some of you are hardcore UV direct print users and some are hardcore printed vinyl users, but let's have an honest discussion about the pros and cons of both.

Think about it this way. If you post a remax template, you are only selling to remax agents. They will only buy that from you. You won't see a Real Estate III agent buying a remax sign.
You don't need a template or certificate. Your proof and invoice is your contract. Simply put in the footer of your invoice that once the sign leaves the shop, it's no longer under warranty. If it's something you installed, you could say "All installed sign has a 30 day warranty" or even "Once...
Which is how it should be in most applications. However the OP said they are getting rid of it in a few years. 651 is a 6 year vinyl, so it's more than enough. There are no curves or wrapping, it's all flat so a higher grade vinyl is not needed. Now I would be against anything less than 651.
There are a few ways to do this. You can either use a routed polycarbonate and glue inside of the face (route it out mirrored). Some people use a block out vinyl, I know Avery has one. Again mirror it.

I see that everywhere now. It's sad, they go and buy the cheapest China equipment on ebay and advertise as a one stop sign shop. Luckily they come and go. I see most copy shops getting into signs (I've worked with a few and it was a nightmare).
