It might be a feed calibration issue. On my roland, depending on the thickness if the material, I have to change the feed calibration for it to be exact. It's hard to tell its off, sometimes it's off so little there is no visible banding, but on a long print it can be off by an inch or two.

Both are great. I use both depending on the application. I feel Arlon's air egress performs better, while 3M's positionability is superior. both print well, and have good laminates to pair, although I have had problems with 3M's 8518 appearing scuffed near the end of the roll. ease of use would...
