my question is did you join the site to see if you could get a free design for your car rather than pay a shop to do it for you? the site has changed a lot but as far as I know the site hasn't become a place for the general public to come to ask the professionals for free designs
there's a disconnect between the mountain/hill the name and the band with the park lettering. it looks like three different ideas. try pulling it together, get rid of that font as it doesn't work. I assume this is for a sign so try setting it onto a shape so that you can see how it will look...
that's a lot of layers and a lot of work. how much material do you have into it? use your usual mark ups. how much labor at your shop rate? design time, how much at that rate?
we had a sign removal in a mall that has a tiled soffit. the sign was held up with a ton of double sided tape, the kind with the foam. the mall wants up to remove all the tape from the soffit. we have rapid remover that works fine on gummy stuff but the foam is in the way of it getting to...
I tried zeronine years ago and hated it and went back to Gerber and have never had an issue. I use the artic white as it covers in one pass with no primer needed
when people ask, they often get info that isn't that great and they get info that is great. unless they know what they are doing, telling the difference is hard. when I do answer a question, I tell the OP how I do it. they benifit from what I've learned, many times the hard way, and can do...
is that really your shop entrance? I would clean up the door area and make the sign fit over it so at least it looks a little more friendly. the cutesy daycare graphic looks scary against that backdrop
never have had one of "those" kinds of people. we do get dump the entire bottle of Polo on themselves guys which leaves a whole other scent to deal with for days. open all the doors and windows as it helps air it out
there's a big difference between a person who asks a question about a sign type or method that they've never done before and a person who asks how to make a sign. the site name does make it sound more like it is a how to make a sign rather than how do I make this kind of sign.
are you making the entire sign? if so, I wouldn't put those lines/squares/sections in the background so the logo stands out and isn't clutter up with the background
if the door has been painted it very well could be paint with additives so dirt won't stick. those same additives also mean not much else will either. I've talked to 3M about this and they have no real plans to deal with this as each paint company has its own additives. one way we've found to...
it depends on your business. we have long term repeat customers, lots of them that go back to the late 1980's. they love that they can come back and get a new sign when their old one dies and that could be anywhere from 8 to 10 years and they come in between then for other projects. if you...
first off, you'll need a wood that will have some color contrast. most wood that is good for outdoor signs looks like a butcher block as they make panels by gluing together 2" x 4" pieces which doesn't matter as most sign are painted. you would have to go to a good high end wood seller so see...
