  1. Illustrator not opening CuttingMaster "Registration Marks..."

    whoa - cutting master 3?
  2. Illustrator not opening CuttingMaster "Registration Marks..."

    Not sure if CS6 had some sort of update - but for some reason, CuttingMaster will not open the registration marks window. CuttingMaster 2 is still an option in the File menu, and it's black - but "Registration Marks..." won't open to the next window. Anyone have this problem and find a solution?
  3. Color variance in "nested" job

    I came in yesterday afternoon to get a jump start on a Sprinter wrap. We use Caldera with out HP L25500. I sent all six panels to the cue and watched it roll - not paying too much attention. Since the Bears were on. I came in early this morning before the phones started ringing to trim. Still...
  4. HP L25500 :: Print quality issues (spitting?)

    Yes - I just increased the number of passes. Since then, I haven't had a problem. Nor have I had the time to properly profile the material at 10 pass, unfortunately.
  5. Did I get a bad roll of media? Orajet 3751 RA

    Curious - what does this mean?
  6. Looking for a partcular sidewalk sign / a-frame

    By George, I think you've got it. Thanks! (to satisfy the equally curious: here's the origin of the phrase : http://www.ask.com/question/by-george-i-think-you-ve-got-it )
  7. Looking for a partcular sidewalk sign / a-frame

    Anyone know where to find this particular frame? Sorry for the horrible pic. It's all I have and I need to get as close as possible.
  8. 3751RA Contour cut boat lettering?

    Awesome. Thanks everyone. I honestly didn't realize there was a 3951 without rapid air. The thought process makes perfect sense. Thank you again.
  9. 3751RA Contour cut boat lettering?

    Thanks for the help on this. Question: is 3951 a rapid air product as well?
  10. HP L25500 :: Polypro film

    Thanks for piping in. Found enough generic information here: http://www.sihlusa.com/support_and_downloads/Printer_Settings.html
  11. HP L25500 :: Polypro film

    This would drip if I pinned it to the wall.
  12. HP L25500 :: Polypro film

    Anyone printing on Optisolve Polypropylene 8 mil film (or something similar)? I bought this months ago for a quick turnaround poster job and never got it working. I found the HP Everyday Matte Polypropylene profile for Caldera and figured it would be generic enough - but the ink comes out...
  13. 3751RA Contour cut boat lettering?

    Anyone using 3751RA+290 for contour cut boat lettering (salt water environment)?
  14. HP L25500 :: Print quality issues (spitting?)

    Thanks to you both. I was printing 9751RA on a slightly modified 9551 profile (which quite frankly, always had the same results). In those attachments, we printed 10 pass. Boosting to 12 pass seemed to do the trick, even on the edges. But I will try to experiment with ink usage to nail a...
  15. HP L25500 :: Print quality issues (spitting?)

    Every so often, when printing adhesive vinyl (in this case 9751RA) - we get these low quality print results, almost as if the heads are spitting. As you may see from the pictures, we were running some color tests. The green, which happens to be on the outside edge of the material roll has the...
  16. Is the GRID under a Cutting Mat useful?..

    Yes. We use it all the time for eyeballing initial alignment for mounting prints with bleeds.
  17. Cannot find port :: CM2 + graphtec CE5000

    Not sure what happened. We had some PC problems earlier in the morning. Perhaps we lost the driver? We uninstalled/reinstalled Cutting Master and reinstalled driver and it started working. Thanks everyone.
  18. Cannot find port :: CM2 + graphtec CE5000

    Not sure why - but suddenly, Cutting Master 2 Cannot find port. Connected with USB. When the cutter is turned on, it beeps, signifying that it recognizes the device. Not sure where to start digging.
  19. FENDER BENDER : Repairing repaired wraps

    Owner of shop said it is a PPG "force dry" product - which is put under lights for an accelerated cure time. He recommended waiting at least 5 days for chemical out-gassing.
