.375" = 9.525mm (Alumalite comes in 6mm & 10mm). I don't know how you would get a stud attached to it...? The aluminum is too thin to weld to or to hold the stud. You could VHB-tape and silicone it though. Does the customer really want to see the corrugation?

I don't get the water/waves. To me it looks like an advertisement for a waterpark. Eliminating that and replacing it with your services seems like it would be a better use of space.

I think it looks pretty good. Two immediate thoughts: - Just looking at the thumbnail, the eyes look a tad 'sleepy' - needs more 'bad' :) - I think it needs a partial highlight around the bottom of the hat, similar to the highlight around the horns

Thank you. A jig that would work would be much too involved. It would have to hold the bit exactly in place and not allow any movement side-to-side whatsoever. A piece of thin metal would still allow the bit to wander. A "horizontal drill press" that could be made stationary would be great, but...

I agree 100%. A sign that thin is putting only shear force on the tape. One square inch of VHB tape can withstand a ridiculous amount of shear weight. If you attach VHB to the perimeter, it's staying put. OP: I only mentioned using silicone because you mentioned being apprehensive with just...
