  1. Two Mutoh 1304's for sale. $5995 each.

    Toss in a free L25500!
  2. Banners - Buy 1 Get 1 Free

Uhh.. guys, their pricing is on their public website. And it's pretty much wholesale to retail clients.
  3. Philosphical vendor question

As a wholesaler, we do not make ANY changes to artwork without asking or with specific instruction first. Period. If they changed your artwork to fit a different template, they should've asked you before doing so. They're the ones who made assumptions, not you.
  4. The latex. Wanna know what it's about?

Can't lam Phototex man! well.. at least not with cold lam.. maybe some spray lam..
  5. The latex. Wanna know what it's about?

The matte finish of the ink is only noticeable without lam. Ink adhesion is great. We've run a ton of banners (double sided too, even though they said you can't do it) with no problems. I only have the big one, and it puts off a lot of heat. I can't speak for the 25500, but the 800...
  6. L25500 how much heat?

Same here. Don't spend a ton of cash on a humidifier.. we run an evap that we picked up at HomeDepot for like $300.
  7. The latex. Wanna know what it's about?

    11. YES. the ink is much more durable then what comes off solvent printes. I disagree with this one. We printed some PhotoTex a few weeks ago on the LX800. Had a fingerprint on it, so one of my installers *lightly* rubbed it with alcohol and it came right off. In the same office we have...
  8. Jumping on the HP Latex bandwagon

Wow, they're $100 for a 770ml? That's almost as cheap as the ink on the 800!
  9. Jumping on the HP Latex bandwagon

We have had Rolands for seven years. We still have two. Had our big latex for almost six months... and I'm really hoping Grimco calls me back to say they've got a couple of extra units at the special price. I don't buy the higher cost of consumables.. If you are using a 6 color set, it's...
  10. Jumping on the HP Latex bandwagon

I called Grimco this afternoon and was told the sale was off as of 9am this morning. They said they didn't know when they'd even be able to sell them again, and that there would be an announcement on a new model soon. Congrats to those that got in on the deal!
  11. Gold Rush Alaska

Everyone here at the shop watches Dexter. I've only seen it a couple of times and never really got into it. Entourage is great though!
  12. Gold Rush Alaska

Those large guys from Jersey are a riot too.. One show they "repo'd" one of those huge dump trucks--you know the ones with 8' tall tires. After getting one of their trucks crushed by the owner dumping a load of rocks on it, they crashed it through a chainlink fence to get it out of there like...
  13. Gold Rush Alaska

Oh god.. I blocked that one from memory.. Damn you!
  14. Gold Rush Alaska

How about Operation Repo? Lol.. Sonya is HOTT!
  15. Gold Rush Alaska

All of these reality shows are made up garbage now.. The part that bothers me is that when someone comes up with an idea that catches on, all of a sudden there are three more shows about the exact same thing. Storage auctions, fishing, guns, you name it. I still love me some Deadliest...
  16. Am I being stupid???

One other thing to consider, the size (I'm assuming you're using pre-cut blanks) you are printing is very small. Smaller than most of the printers I've seen will allow to be used for a sheet size. Of course if you're using a true flatbed this is not an issue, but for a belt drive system it...
  17. Gold Rush Alaska

Lol Whatever do you mean Pat?
  18. Gold Rush Alaska

It pisses me off how addicted I am to that show. It's absolutely absurd, but I can't stop watching!
  19. good questions I would like to hear answered.

The 800 cleans itself.. does the 25500 not?
  20. Van Pricing, Where would you be?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Addie's right. We compete daily with other shops that consistenly price their wares below our prices. How do we do this? Salesmanship, service, and quality. I hear all the time from people that they "can't get that price" in their city. You're...
