After doing a couple of walls with a Rollepro we finally got a 3M textured wall applicator. That made a big difference in the speed you can get these jobs done. Still slow af but faster and you don't burn your hands on the heat gun tip as much.

opos paneling is a separate option

You might have paneling turned on.

We do that easily with Onyx and Summa barcode server. Scan the first job then it will look for and cut anything else on the roll afterwards.

Hit the printscreen button, paste into photoshop and print from there.

Iso worked great for cleaning our heads using Pauly's method. We've also started laying a coating of flush on the heads overnight.

Use the Cutter Control software.

Turn the machine off while the carriage is over the platten. Pull out the cleaning kit and have a look under the heads. More than likely some paper stuck under there.

Big thanks to Pauly for some tips on cleaning our heads properly. I'm sure the Oce techs told us something similar but the info didn't sink in. A few swabs and flushes and the gradient nozzle check prints are way better already.

We had a weird issue with our S2 where the cutting pressure would suddenly go insane. It turned out to be the firmware we had installed. Maybe check with Summa support. As others advised me if the depth is set correctly it won't cut though but this was something else again.

A Swissq is definitely on the shortlist for our next flatbed.

Nozzle dropouts, banding. Mainly on expensive substrates like ACM. We can get all nozzles firing (apart from one black which has always been out) but the gradient on the nozzle check print is scratchy on all the dark inks. We bought it used just to get into flatbed printing so can't expect it to...

The usual day to day coro, forex, foamboards, ACP and occasional glass, acrylic & timber jobs. Our old Oce 360 is having quality issues and is getting just too slow to turn larger orders over fast enough.

If you don't swap nearly empty carts before starting a long run and want to go home you have to either cancel the job or wait until they run out.. so being able to pause the job to swap carts on the 300s is a great feature.

True. Cancel the job and start again. Can't swap ink carts during a long run either.
