As Signmeup said, once you have the spot white in a layered profile let it rip then go to printer settings and select the order you want the white to appear.
For a night/day 3 layer job select cmyk/spot white/cmyk.
Or usually cmyk/flood white/cmyk
Yeah that's short sighted tactics from a vendor.
Same thing happened to me with a motorbike repair shop. Kept my bike for 3 weeks without fixing it then when I complained on a forum they rang me up and told me they'd read my post and come get my bike out of their shop.
Blasted them even worse...
I got a couple of rolls of Protac from Drytac which work well.
The adhesive is thicker so flows into the UV ink's texture pretty well.
The other option is to use cast but the cost is a killer.
Thanks for the input.
Yeah just me and a couple of people at the moment but looking to future growth so might give it a shot so we have a system in place.
We're looking at software like this too now.
How streamlined is Corebridge to use when entering new jobs?
We do a lot of small one-offs.
At the moment I simply print off the order email and write any extra info on it for finishing etc.
Don't really want to get into something that takes 15...
To answer OP's question yes we ran Rolands for years then bought a L25500 when they were on special.
I was skeptical but was soon converted - we sold our 2 Rolands and got another latex.
Then upgraded to 360s which we still run today.
If you do many wraps they are perfect.
Also we provide a lot...
I'd check printheads and if any have done more than about 3 litres would put new ones in.
Clean the encoder strip.
Do the "optimize print quality" thing.
I set this up a couple of media on our 360s a couple of days ago.
We just ran a long job using it yesterday.
I didn't get the black box or colour bars.. maybe that's an option or only happens on the large latexes.
The job takes longer to start. Must be getting the heads up to temp.
It seems to...
We just went through a roll of 8518 for one way vision laminate.
It is clear but a little too stiff to apply to windows with compound curves for our liking.
I might try an avery wrap lam like 1460 next time.
I only became aware of this new feature yesterday and first tests look encouraging.
Previously reprints of the same colour usually printed slightly differently without rhyme or reason.
I just did 4 reprints of the same colour with the new preset from 2 different printers and the colour was...
It doesn't.
If it's a new project I tell the builders what paint to use.
If it's an existing wall I go do an adhesion test to avoid embarrassing failures.
Acrylic expands a fair bit due to temperature variations so for large signs I'd go at least 6mm thick, preferably 10mm and use at least 6 standoffs.
Polished edges looks classy too.
We use a lot of Avery 2611 with 2100 lam.
We've done about 8 rolls in the last 2 weeks.
Ease of installation is one of it's key points.
Removability is a bonus too.
It doesn't adhere that well to slightly textured surfaces.
