I don't use much Avery unless it's a specific color vinyl I need. But I don't feel it's an inferior product. I haven't had issues with any Avery since about 2005 or 2006, when all their vinyls were crap and would shrink and fail, but they reformulated everything after that.

Can you be more specific? Do you mean when importing PDFs to Flexi? Or exporting out from Flexi? What white areas? Actual white fills, or empty spaces?

We've used GF Concept 229 for several jobs. It works well but find it is finicky when it come to the surface it goes on. Certain paints affect it's adhesion (common problem with most wall vinyl really). I would test the surface first, or do the alcohol prep treatment before installing.

I can see that being a decent material for a wall, but super expensive for a wall wrap.

Using mostly GF 226 wall vinyl. Matte finish, installs easy and seems to stick well. And only about .48 a sf.

Need to replace the Fetzer valve. Seriously though, the test looks fine, other than what looks to me to be a feed calibration issue, hence the gap between the nozzle test sections.

Get some knifeless tape and go around the door handle and emblem. Or, you can plot the vinyl with the shapes cut out and just drop in place.

I think I get what you're saying, but I generally have zero issue making a cut line for any raster image. Some you have to create, some are simply done one click with Contour Cut in Flexi, IF the file is PSD.

Is it actually etch-like? Frosted? Looks to me like more of a translucent white or a diffuser vinyl.
