So I'm making a logo for a client, and we narrow it down to the first image, then the clients wife gets involved and has me bastardize it until it looks like the second image... I get so tired of these clients that think they can design! why dont they do it themselves and leave me the hell alone!

whoever is charging you to give you a wix site is ripping you off. very hard to do SEO if you dont know what youre doing, and its all flash, so a seperate site will have to be created for it to be viewable on some mobile devices (wix does offer a mobile service). you could make your own site...

the owner of this shop set up another business (Storm Relief) with his wife as the sole owner so they could get preference in all the government bids.

when I get a call, that is obviously someone trying to sell me something, I tell them I'll connect them to the owner, then put them on hold until they drop off. I figure if they are gonna waste my time, I'll waste some of theirs.
