On heavy ink runs (black, brown, dark red) the drying is inconsistent. Half of the print will be cured on the right side while the other half is still uncured and oily on the left side. I'm sure others have to be experiencing this. Anyone have a work around? Its seriously annoying.

yeah drippy heads are no good.
Have you checked the ink lines? If there is a leak somewhere it can cause the heads to drip. Check for wet ink on the lines. Or the heads are just bad and need replaced.
Fun tip! In all the videos and documentation. they only ever tell you to lube the bottom rail. but there are TWO rails. The other is just above.
I was having problems with the carriage vibrating. Once I lubed up the top rail it stopped.
Sheer or straight edge for cross grain. And my little plasticut corex knife for the flutes.
I have just come to expect corex getting filthy. Even in the shear if metal is cut in it it will still get your corex filthy.
A little soapy water and paper towels does the trick.
