I'd use the highest temp I can set, say 50c/122f
  2. Need Help Roland banding

    I'd try 40C / 104F
  3. Need Help Roland banding

Try slowing down printing. Paper needs a lot of ink, maybe your pump cannot keep up with the speed. You're printing to a coated surface not actual paper so you should definitely use the heater.
  4. Need Help Roland banding

Use unidirectional printing and higher heat settings + low head speed and increase nr of passes. Brown is a very delicate color for any printer.
  5. Need Help Where to find images etc for vehicle signage, help please

Never mind, I was in a bad mood. But as a former web developer please let me tell you that front-end and back-end has nothing to do with each other and it cannot be done by one person as you can be professional only on one field. If your page was created by a programmer, just hire a front end...
  6. Need Help Printing Temperatures

So my prints are fine on thick material but cannot print bidirectional on oracal 3164 or similar 70micron media as it gets wavy on the printing platform and bidirectional printing looks awful in those places. I know it must be a heating problem because I printed 3164 just fine a few months...
  7. Need Help Where to find images etc for vehicle signage, help please

Oh Fred, you tried this many times. There is nothing valuable on that website.
  8. Set CJV30-130 to print White Ink

If you need to change the ink setup you'll need cleaning cartridges for the 4 channels, as far as i know there is no CMYKWWWW option, only CMYK+Lc+Lm+W you may leave the 8th channel unused or use metallic inks if my memory serves well, anyway you can look up on their site which configuration is...
  9. Mimaki intermediate mark problems

try a thicker line or "fill around marks", if that doesn't work try adding marks from rasterlink
  10. Best media for wall graphics

Why not try Oracal 3164 +Oraguard 200 combo? 100% scratch resistance + 3 options for glossy, semi glossy and matte finish. I bet it'd hold up really well in bathrooms too.
  11. Need Help Blurry Images Printing On Oracal 3620 Clear Film

if it looks double printed use UNIDIR printing if you need a quick print, or check bidirectional settings very carefully for large jobs. For clear or frosted vinyl I always use 2x overprint, on frosted it looks exceptionally nice.
  12. HP 115 can I leave it alone?

$10.000 machine gathering dust in the closet, isn't this a bit of an overkill?
  13. Ugly Script

Yep, that looks like a poorly traced thing.
  14. Processing... (but done printing)

Connect printer to computer directly without the router to see if router is the problem.
  15. Roland Printer-what's Up With Grays?

Select 'use primary colors only' in versaworks and set up your file in vector format using K only for grays. This'll make u true grays guaranteed, not sure how nice the resolution will be though. I printed a gray wallpaper the other day on my 8 color printer and surprise surprise it was made out...
  16. thoughts on non-oem ecosol ink?

What the heck is PIECE of mind??
  17. Need Help Roland color inconsistency issue - help please

This looks like ink is not absorbed uniformly. I'd turn up heat and try unidirectional printing or add delay between passes. Did you try other media?
  18. Need Help BN-20 Didn't Rewind to Cut!

There's nothing much to investigate, just check the "Crop Marks" checkbox in versaworks. it's in the 'MARK' panel. The printer will do the rest. In the CUT CONTROLS panel you can select "Print and Cut", "Print Only", "Cut Only" If you hit print only - i guess this is why your machine didn't cut...
  19. Hi from Hungary!

Hi Greg, do we hate Fidesz or not?
  20. Need Help BN-20 Didn't Rewind to Cut!

Always use registration marks. 3 meters is too long anyway for precise cutting. Try not to cut more than 1sqm at once even if you have more waste.
