Black is gone, magenta is not working perfectly, maybe if you don't want to go below everyone on the market by selling 3 euro/sqm banners you could afford a new printhead every 6-8 years.
I do mainly car and laptop decals/stickers and use the 42" cutter only when the 24" is too small, but honestly I never had to cut anything bigger that 42". Remember 42" is the short side so you can do frosted window decal easily with 42".
On the other hand I prefer to cut long things (with...
No, the choke valve is a part of the choke assembly, don't know where actually its located before OR after the pump, but it's purpose is to stop ink to freely flow out on the nozzles.
Are your heaters actually working - I mean if you put your hands on the heater it is on? Set the density a bit higher, try a different profile. Make sure the media is on room temperature for 48h before printing, make sure the room is clean and aired - believe it or not even perfume or deodorant...
Try it out with other cutting softwares, I use vinylmastercut they have free trial. If that works try uninstalling (and restart computer) and reinstalling versaworks. If problem is still unsolved try an earlier versaworks version. If still not resolved install versaworks to another computer and...

As a newcomer in the printing field I'd like to save 30% on the machine in the first place. I'd like to have low printing cost in the first years and pay $2500 for a PH when the machine is 8-10 years old and I made some profit. I'd also like to have a print&cut machine to save space and money.
There are official Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh -you name it - dealers in Mexico and even THEY try to avoid dealing with faulty printers if you're not insistent enough. But you buy an expensive machine from china (first mistake) and pay by bank transfer (secon mistake). Dude. I mean DUDE !!?? Just...
I wish i knew these before getting my printer:
Latex pros
Latex is better for wallpaper stuff as it can print direct to real PAPER, eco-solvent prints only to coated media.
Cost of HP Latex / sqft is 25c for ink and 15-20c for printhead+electricity+cleaning solution so about 40c/sqft in total...
Don't fall for the ink estimator, it's way off - you need to double that to get the actual ink consumed just like the print time estimator - you need to double that too.
