from the thumbnail i thought it was a waving flag...then i clicked the image and saw you were going for the tear look....personally, i would have preferred the waving flag instead...
you took the words right outta my mouth....
instead of spending the $$ on adobe or corel or whatever else....try these out to see if you're REALLY interested.....
i've learned not to assume anything...i was simply trying to make a clarification....checkers took the time to make a really good post, and everyone jumped on him...assuming he was talking in regards to taxes....
from checkers' original post (if you read the whole thing)....he said nothing about marking this on his taxes....his post was in regards to figuring out a shop rate...and that he does figure his mortgage into his HOURLY RATE
personally, i like the design...it works for a race car (that's what this is for right??)...as far as copyright and printing the $$....i can't answer...never had a problem..
just looked at the two designs....the cycles one looks great, but the the angle on the snow mobile on the sleds one doesn't work...do you have one that is at the same angle as the bike??
also, the black boxes around the lettering...is there a purpose for those??? i would suggest just printing...
i started working for a sign shop when i was 18 with absolutely no idea what i was doing....my aunt (boss) slowly taught me the basics of sign design...she was an old school hand letterer, and i hate to say, but her designs seemed very simple (though i didn't know this at the time)....
she died...
i don't think that's the case....it's that they don't really understand what vector is compared to raster....therefore, you ask for an EPS file, they send you an EPS file....
