  1. Chevy Express Wrap tips?

Relief cuts are not okay on a Chevy Express. There is no reason to have them if you install correctly.
  2. Won't find crop marks

No need colin. A lot of times this has to do with the material size. Sometimes the pinch rollers get moved in between printing & cutting. Also, when printing/cutting, do not check "Center on Media". For this job, try moving the pinch rollers slightly outward. You'll also want to "get...
  3. Chevy Express Wrap tips?

Use the right material. Period. Do NOT deliver an inferior product to your client. They are paying you good money and they deserve to get a quality product. Get a cast film and use it. Work the vinyl into the grooves (without heat). After everything is done, post heat and burnish the...
  4. Chevy billboard, drawn with markers

And where's his safety harness!? Lol Funny thing is, with the price of billboard printing, it cost them a ton more to have that hand drawn than it would have to have had it printed.
  5. Ooooo... that's a neat idea..........................

Bought my baby's mama a mini-laptop she's been asking for forever. Got her a new camera and photo printer to go with it--I'm tired of running to Walgreens everytime she orders prints online! I noticed the door speakers in my truck are blown the other day. I hope I get new ones!
  6. Try it here, Addie..........................

I get such a kick out of this. There are some people who come here with a genuine, open mind. Some people make mistakes. Some people think they're perfect. Some people honestly want to learn, contribute, and in some small way better the industry. And then you get some people who think they...
  7. Another Assult charge..:(

I'm with darlak. Seriously though.. get a good lawyer. He came to your place? Self defense.
  8. It's so cold!!!.....

I wore shorts to work yesterday.. It was over 80. :)
  9. Bad Printhead Test

Bad test prints can usually be fixed. What it takes to fix can take any of many things, including auto cleaning, manual cleaning, wipers, cap tops, dampers, and of course a new head(s). The heads are about $1200 installed with new dampers. FWIW, 7500 sounds WAY high for that machine used.
  10. Panhandler or Sign Spinner

Years ago, I used to own a bread route. I used to see the same people begging daily, often in slightly different areas. I got asked all the time for money, and always offered fresh bread instead. Never got any takers, until one day. The guy took a couple loaves of bread, looking extremely...
  11. Conspiracy theory?

    LOL now that's funny.
  12. Help identify this product!

I don't know Mike.. I can't really get an up close look at these things (they're in use at one of my client's competitor's stores, and I've already been kicked out twice). If I had to guess, I'd say they were bent. FFR-DSI doesn't have them. They were my first call. Outwater was my 2nd...
  13. Help identify this product!

I would make these, but I don't have a break. These are 48" and 72" long. Everytime we've tried to bend longer stuff it ends up getting all funky??
  14. Help identify this product!

Hi all, I've got a client wanting to use a sign holder that I can't seem to find anywhere. It’s some sort of thin, clear acrylic, PET or styrene that opens on the bottom to allow a sign to be inserted. These will be attached on the backside to deli display cases using double sided tape. I've...

  16. Supplier/Distributor Frustration

+1 for mark in tx! Don't promise delivery dates until production is finished.
  17. It's cold and I am stuck...

    THAT would suck!
  18. It's cold and I am stuck...

If it's clicking but not cranking, and there's plenty of juice left in the batteries, you may have lost all the coolant, causing the engine to lock up. If that's what happened, you have a 1000lb paper weight.
  19. It's cold and I am stuck...

Is the solenoid clicking, but then no cranking?
  20. It's cold and I am stuck...

Sounds like it's out of coolant.
