  5. Transporting a Flatbed?

Having a GT moved is 300 time easier than an XT. The whole thing will be packed in 1 crate where the XT takes 3 crates and a whole disassembly and assembly.
  6. Transporting a Flatbed?

+1 with Australia Oce service. Are they going to pack it down for you? Since you have an XT, it's a 3 piece machine. Bed splits in 2 and the gantry comes off. The GT is 1 piece, so it's a lot easier. And they're going to have to install it for you, which means leveling the table, connecting...
  7. Need Help Any Experience with Chinese flatbed products?

This is probably do to with the ICC profiles. Im guessing you're doing this on a budget, so getting a profile created is out of the question and so i creating one (need the tools) If you can find a profile for your printer that works with the RIP then try that, but good luck. Which way? left...

  12. output color wrong

That is not a very valid reason why it shouldn't be used. Maybe your or their skill level isn't advanced enough to use illustrator? I know how to use illustrator very well. I can create signs, Cut files, multiple Layered spot print files and all sorts of things. Same goes with photoshop...
  13. output color wrong

I agree, you probably need to create new icc profiles for the printer.
  14. output color wrong

If you're using illustrator, than im assuming you're drawing will be all vector. Do the drawing 50% or 25% or 10% of the size then increase the size in the RIP. It's a vector, you don't loose any details or it wont get pixelated.
  15. Question Best Representation of Clear Glass in Proof Drawings (or tinted glass)

90% of our work is glass. What our clients get is sheet "preview" with their glass size in a black box and inside the black box is the image or text. If there's white text, the text will be shown as black but written as "white" on the preview. All of our prints are done on "low iron" (correct...
  16. Need Help Profiles for Mutoh 1604 UMS ink

If you're running Thrive or Postershop, buy a spectrophotometer like an Xrite i1pro 2 and create your own by using Onyx media manager. You probably wont find a profiler that'll work well. profiles aren't the same from printer to printer.
  17. Need Help Profiles for Mutoh 1604 UMS ink

Download "onyx download manager" and see if theres any profiles on file.
  18. Suggestions Vutek QS2000 Series Profiles?

A good profile on 1 machine isn't going to be good on another. You need to either make one yourself or get someone to make one for you. onyx does supply profiles but whether they're good or not is the question. You need to get onyx download manager to get them
  19. color chart matching

Colour matching charts are for spot colours. You can print off a pantone chart and use that as a reference colour guide of what your printer can print. If you're having issues getting photos/images to look right colour wise. That will be your printer ICC profile. You'll need to make a better one.
