Love the RMO. I use to it run nozzle checks daily. although we dont do to much banners ect, when we do, i'll throw it on the RMO. only issue i've had was i didn't put enough tension on it once on a banner and the banner kept lifting and hitting the heads. lesson learnt there, and hasn't happened...
Lets just say im a beginner with websites. I understand a little.
When i first had my website, i was a website builder and it worked fine. I moved to wix and it was ok, looked nice none the less.
Now i had someone come to my office saying they can optimise my site blah blah blah. They said i...
Depends what im doing, A lot of my glass work, the files can be around a few gigabytes being a TIFF. but usually around 500mb.
I can set up the router to give my laptop only 5GHz. Im pretty sure that i am on the 5GHz bandwith and office is on 2.4.
I can see my router from my chair. just 20m away.
I use dropbox if my clients want to send me files, no problem, but not from pc to pc. For what ever reason if my internet goes offline, im stuck.
I like my solution using a p2p connection pretty much viewing my whole RIP PC on my laptop with a WiFi connection. My bottle neck is the router, i...
Not sure how it's different except using Cloud storage?
Still need WiFi to upload to the net, where my WiFi drops out. So still same issues.
I just use the storage on the RIP PC as it has 2tb of storage.
Considering wired. But rather be wireless.
Well the router was fine until the last month or so. So i think the routers i get cannot hold up to the task? Hence my question if there's more specific routers used in work spaces. Router will need to be replaced anyway so ill get a Linksys...
Well going with a wired connection from laptop to router isn't viable. Because A, I'll need to run a new wire, And B, i'll need an adaptor on my laptop and then that doesn't allow me to roam around my shop with my laptop.
WiFi transfer method may be old, but still works fine for being...
My router is central, Its in the printing room, about 20m away from my laptop. The RIP is wired connection to the router.
I cannot remember what router it is, i'll check tomorrow, but it's nothing to flash. Signal is fine,
Funny enough, that's the router i wanted to get.
Can't remember if...
So the last year i've been using my Laptop (13" Dell XPS) so do all my work related activities on. I.e Emails, Editing images and what not on my laptop and once done i'll send them do my RIP PC. Also it allows me to do things at home.
I only use my RIP PC for using the RIP, or doing any colour...
Congrats on being a mod!
That's what i had thought, but not sure how to do that inside onyx. Unless my icc profile gamut is limited to a standard. I may try it in some free time.
Thanks for your brief explanation. I do understand what you're saying, especially when to and when to not print to...
I dont really need to do this as i print to the printers maximum capabilities, but i think about it from time to time which is how would you print something to a standard like Fogra53 ?
Is it done in the RIP or you convert the input profile of the image to Fogra53? or does your output Icc...
wouldn't waste your time.
"uv ink isn't flexible" well it doesn't work like that. you're printing onto cotton or something, It's not coated, the ink will be absorbed. I've tried it before.
