I had an issue with the adhesive about 4 years ago. Tried to reposition a graphic and the adhesive came off the vinyl and stuck to the camper. Always printed great!

I would never suggest using vinyl banner in a banner stand. Some type of synthetic paper or film with lam. Best way is hot lams on both sides if you have that capability, but a cold lam on front will work if done right. jim

Did it work with the summa the week before? Have seen issues with drivers in caldera.

Then you should be able to get by with some of the lower priced laminators. If you get into hot lams you'll need to spend more. You'll want a take up for the finished product, makes it a lot easier to laminate a full roll.

What type of material and jobs will you be laminating?

been using caldera for 1.5 years now and do believe it puts down a lot of ink, but not usually that much. Have you tried more than one of the canned profiles? There are a ton of settings in the rip, many of which can cause one issue or another. Make a profile and see how it does.

Depends how good original scan is. If it's poor quality it won't work well. My experience is photoshop can resize images as good as anything else. May just take a little longer as you want to do it in small steps.

It will take longer take for ink to warm up morning. Had some issues with that in the past.

if the color calibration looks faded then its not caldera. The color cal file should be printed right from IPS.

If you print the color calibration from the ISP how does it look? Have same printer with Caldera too.

it's a layered plywood, never saw it before either. The masonite side is a tan colored, not dark brown. It is smooth, looks and feels like masonite. Was specd by customer.

I'll have to check, it's 3/4" plywood with a light colored masonite face on one side. Vinyl being applied right to unpainted masonite side.

I thought so too, we have a large job with it and was wondering if anything on for seen would pop up over time.

Big AGL fan, built to last. Biggest question is how thick of lams? If using just 3 mil lams you can get away with lower end units, but if you plan on using 5 or 10 mil films buy a big boy!!!!! We have a $12,000 GBC unit that could not handle the thicker films for any distance, heat gets...

How much insulation in walls and ceiling? How well was insulation installed? Sky lights? If its insulated well it should hold temp pretty well, even in the weather we've been having lately.
