Using HP360 with Flexi Production Manager 12 RIP. Image is self explanatory. Why is the print getting cut off? Seems to be random. Sometimes it prints fine.
We were using a Mimaki JV133 before and now have the HP360. Loved the Mimaki!
1. HP will never be able to match colors from mimaki. We started a fleet of vehicle wraps with the mimaki and now trying to print the same on the HP has been a pain.

Calm down! lol I just though he was using the pic a an example. Printing to clear was part of the question. For anything backlit we use clear, although we do have vinyl with a white back.
Printing to clear usually indicates that it's for a backlit sign. If you print to white and have the white portions cut out, the vinyl will appear black at night as it is opaque not translucent like clear.
White is the absence of color whereby anything colored white will not print but will be blank so if you're printing to white all is good. Printing to clear would not work without white ink or applying to a white surface.
Yeah, we tend to push for anyone wanting that type of stuff to get the kits from the internet. Way cheaper. However if you mess it up you're screwed. If you do a custom wrap any mistakes can be re-printed without the customer ever knowing about it. We've done several camo trim pieces but not...
Yeah, that's called engine turn gold. Imitation Gold Leaf is a different animal. We use that too though.
