When printing a 38" x 96" banner on our previous printer on 38" banner stock you'd get a prompt saying it doesn't fit (won't do edge to edge printing) and you could hit ok and let it print anyway. Worked out great as the left and right cut lines are omitted from the print and the banner will...
Although I haven't personally used an HP for rigid stock I can tell you that our new HP360 Latex has been extremely disappointing with roll media. Substrates jam all the time, getting the right color is a total PITA, the advertised print speed does not take into account that you have to run it...
The Air Force has a reward type program for money savings. If you submit the proper paperwork to prove that a part can be manufactured cheaper or maybe even omitted altogether you can make a ton of money. I helped a guy put together a package before. I've heard of members getting 10 -15k for...
Sorry no help on the font. Looks like it may indicate what number of Saleen it is. It's aftermarket though which means it could be any font. I don't believe they came from the factory with any such label. Could be a modified form of Eurostile. Maybe an inline contour whereby reducing the center...
Yep, same way the military works. I was in charge of the graphics shop at Eglin AFB my last years before I retired and we had a set budget. If you don't spend it your budget is cut the next year. We purchased 4 copies of Illustrator and they sat on the shelf for years with the plastic wrap still...

Get this! I can...
My initial though before reading through the post was why would there be a need to laminate banners. I see now that the job requires an "anti-graffiti" treatment.
Good luck with the search. Let us know how it all works out. Assuming you get the job.
In Corel design your pdf template. Go a step further and make the template protected.
In a nutshell
1. select what you want to show the client
2. hit the macro. Your Pdf template.cdr comes up and updates current date and inserts the clients name if that's how you have it filed. Then it pastes...
Holy crap! The light bulb just came on! Easy on me though, I'm an old man. And kind of slow sometimes. Yes, that makes perfectly good sense now! I shall entertain the idea. Thank you all for your patience.
While you do that let me cut one by hand. By hand is still faster. Why not have a four way ruler on the cutter instead of the one (again see the example in my first post)? This would allow one to quickly center it over the mag.
