  1. HP360 Latex doesn't print to center

    Did that, thanks.
  2. HP360 Latex doesn't print to center

When printing a 38" x 96" banner on our previous printer on 38" banner stock you'd get a prompt saying it doesn't fit (won't do edge to edge printing) and you could hit ok and let it print anyway. Worked out great as the left and right cut lines are omitted from the print and the banner will...
  3. Suggestions for a low cost entry level used machine

Although I haven't personally used an HP for rigid stock I can tell you that our new HP360 Latex has been extremely disappointing with roll media. Substrates jam all the time, getting the right color is a total PITA, the advertised print speed does not take into account that you have to run it...
  4. WTH is this architect talkin bout?

The Air Force has a reward type program for money savings. If you submit the proper paperwork to prove that a part can be manufactured cheaper or maybe even omitted altogether you can make a ton of money. I helped a guy put together a package before. I've heard of members getting 10 -15k for...

  7. Font help for me too, please!

Sorry no help on the font. Looks like it may indicate what number of Saleen it is. It's aftermarket though which means it could be any font. I don't believe they came from the factory with any such label. Could be a modified form of Eurostile. Maybe an inline contour whereby reducing the center...
  8. WTH is this architect talkin bout?

Yep, same way the military works. I was in charge of the graphics shop at Eglin AFB my last years before I retired and we had a set budget. If you don't spend it your budget is cut the next year. We purchased 4 copies of Illustrator and they sat on the shelf for years with the plastic wrap still...
  9. Getting My First SmartPhone

I've had my blackberry for more than two years now and with no case at all. Never had a bit of problem. It does what i can keep up with. Much easier to survey vehicles for wraps and such. I can take photos and email them quicker that using the digital camera and downloading em. Get this! I can...
  10. Any tips for laminating 10' X 40' banners?

My initial though before reading through the post was why would there be a need to laminate banners. I see now that the job requires an "anti-graffiti" treatment. Good luck with the search. Let us know how it all works out. Assuming you get the job.
  11. WTH is this architect talkin bout?

    Oh, that helped. Uh...not. LOL
  12. Hello All from McDonough Georgia

  13. Looking for proof to PDF software

In Corel design your pdf template. Go a step further and make the template protected. In a nutshell 1. select what you want to show the client 2. hit the macro. Your Pdf template.cdr comes up and updates current date and inserts the clients name if that's how you have it filed. Then it pastes...
  14. Looking for proof to PDF software

What program do you do your layouts in? I made myself a macro that would take whatever I had selected and copy it onto a pdf template I made.

  16. Magnet cutter

Yeah, unfortunately you'd have to have many different sizes pre-made.
  17. Magnet cutter

Holy crap! The light bulb just came on! Easy on me though, I'm an old man. And kind of slow sometimes. Yes, that makes perfectly good sense now! I shall entertain the idea. Thank you all for your patience.
  18. Magnet cutter

Brian, calm down. lol I'm trying to follow you the best I can. Bare with me in this journey. How about this scenario. Any thoughts?
  19. Magnet cutter

While you do that let me cut one by hand. By hand is still faster. Why not have a four way ruler on the cutter instead of the one (again see the example in my first post)? This would allow one to quickly center it over the mag.
