  1. L260 heat and ink scratching off

Yeah I'm sure I'm going to just have to rebuild my profiles.
  2. L260 heat and ink scratching off

Yes Flexi. I've never noticed any over saturation in color. In general all prints we do are great.
  3. L260 heat and ink scratching off

Well it does seem to be mostly darker areas.....I checked the total ink limit on my main vinyl profile and it was 259%. I tried to drop it down, resaved and then when I opened the profile up again it's back to 259%.... what am I missing?
  4. What caused this failure?

Is that window perf on the glass or the same vinyl? Seeing how tore up that part is too, I'd say overexposure to sun. What happens if the car never moves or parks the same way every day.
  5. L260 heat and ink scratching off

So we've had our 260 for over 2 years now. It is still a common problem for our prints to scratch very easily. I have pretty much maxxed out the Curing temp on this thing without it self combusting....what is everyone else running their cure heat at for everyday intermediate vinyl? Currently I...
  6. Advice needed

Graphtec is your Honda or Toyota of the plotter world. If you prefer driving a BMW, then get a Summa. In the end, they all cut vinyl. Depends on how much money you like giving away.
  7. Can anyone recommend a "VERY HIGH TACK" Transfer tape?

Yeah virtually any transfer tape labeled as high tack....
  8. How much does a logo need to be changed to use

  9. Issue with L260

I did just wipe them all down with alcohol. No telling what got on there. And no, I haven't run Ultraflex on this machine. It won't print on ours. Tried when we first got the printer. I'll run a few more jobs and see how it goes. Haven't run any out-of-the-ordinary materials lately, so very weird.
  10. Issue with L260

    What bottom rollers?
  11. Issue with L260

So I did pinpoint it is these pinchrollers marking the vinyl. But why? What is causing it only here? And this spot is before any ink is laid down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Issue with L260

This material is IJ35C. I've never seen this happen untill recently. And as mentioned, it happens on banner, photo paper, IJ180v3, you name it.
  13. Issue with L260

Anyone ever seen this happen? Over the past couple weeks I have started to see this, just the first few inches of the print. This one went on for much longer....I can't tell what it is....Is part of the heater getting too hot? This has happened on multiple materials, and doesn't happen all the...
  14. applying grapic to clear acrilic

Laminator. Any tiny bubbles you may see are probably dust. We use a dust roller to get everything off...usually spend 10 minutes rolling and rolling to make sure it is dust free.
  15. It happened . . .

I never catch my errors until printer is at 99% finished.
  16. Printing on Alumigraphics

Is it a thin aluminum too? And you are certain could print a whole roll with no jamming issues?
  17. Need some out of the box thinking on vinyl cutting/application

This is what I'm getting at.... I assumed this was common knowledge among sign makers.
  18. A tight fit is good but . . .

Uh oh....we just got a roll of this stuff. Gonna be a problem?
  19. Printing on Alumigraphics

We have a roll of Alumigraphic material, the Grip version. When we got the roll we were able to print a few jobs (one being a sample print in front of our front door). Now that we have gone into the roll a bit, I am having issues loading and running this stuff on our Latex 260. Head strikes and...
  20. Need some out of the box thinking on vinyl cutting/application

The premask holds any pieces/holes/opening together....I thought you were plotting the vinyl as mentioned in original post. If it is a solid piece of vinyl, then you don't need it.
