Don't worry about quality loss. I print 10'x4' black and white canvases for art galleries at 720. You'll 1: save ink and 2: the end client won't notice a difference in the prints. 1440 is best for 6+ color printers. You will not notice a difference on a 4 color cmyk.

Colin- I just noticed your printing high res... This dumps a lot of unnecessary ink on the material and might be your green problem. Can you try printing at 720x720 Wpass or 540x720 Vpass? These might help. I've never printed 1440 in 5 years. Never looks better then 720

I ask where they got that price and maybe they can start printing for me. Heck, at that price what do I have to loose! They usually won't tell me because they are blowing smoke... Stick with your pricing, doesn't matter if it's 1$ or 10$ people will come to you if your product reflects what...
