Randya thank you for your input.
I have checked the belt and it is not jumping.
All I can think is something has gone ammiss in the motor and it gets to a certain point and it is jumping a click!
The motor turns freely when it is not powered up.
I've ordered a new motor and that should be here...
When the machine is on when moving the media there is a light thud and slight movement.
But you cannot recreat this thud when the machine is turned off either by rotating the x x axis or by pulling the media through.
I have looked at the stepper motor and listened for tight bits whilst it's...
No damage to the clear disc.
The belt is central on the small pulley on the motor but not on the large plastic disc pulley and the large pulley isn't adjustable neither is the motor!
On moving the belt across it eventually goes back to touch the side on the plastic disc.
If you put a slight...
And so the challenge begins....LOL
In reality there is no such thing as colour matching on a 4 colour machine.
It's all your best guess and then sometimes it's impossible.
Just make it something close stick to your standard profiles and adjust them on the design.

Switched machine on this morning and printed some images.
The were printed Bi-Directional as the quality didn't need to be that good.
On looking at the prints later there is a part were the PF adjustment runs out and gets better again!!! This is on every rotation or about 85mm.
Later whilst...
Replicator has got it right.
I can crack any pdf file so they are useless.
Clients only get low quality raster files and NEVER get a vector.
If they want anything better they will have to pay for it!!
I don't trust no one even the returning customers. There will always be someone who will beat...
I would backup all your working files and settings then format and reinstall.
I promise it's like doing an upgrade without having to open it up!
Also if the computer is not used for surfing the web I turn off the automatic updates.
I have another computer in another office which was wiped and...
In the UK I am coming across loads and loads of vehicles unlaminated.
There must be some cheapa$$ companies over here as I know of 4 jobs I quoted that when my competitors printed them they were unlaminated.
Even some big companies like Asda, Tescos etc (Walmart to yous guys) have full colour...
As with most of these removal jobs everyone thinks we have a magic machine that takes vinyl off.
Sadly we haven't and i quote these jobs at whatever time it takes!!!
Steam cleaner is probably the best.
Looking in hind sight 751 wasn't the best material!!!!!
I am on with quoting to strip and...
I have played around with color management for years now.
I even have made my own profiles!!
But once you have sorted a color out another color goes wrong.
As far as calibrating monitors go, that is the most elusive thing in the world.
I mean how do you make a RGB monitor emulate a CMYK printer...
There is Clipart everywhere but only 10% is any good for us guys.
You have to be a magician to make some of the rubbish out there into a cuttable image.

On another note....
Checks (or Checques as they are called in the UK) are old ways of payment.
As of 3 months ago all our payments are by card or cash.
In the UK the economic climate is so bad you trust no one.
I had a local take-away in at the start of this month trying to pay by checque...
I have a customer that does this all the time (asking for impossible time schedules) he must have asked me at least a dozen times for different jobs.
I now ignore him as nothing ever comes of it.
I had him in my shop last week gave him an absolutely massive price for his job without even having...
Most images that I have to vectorise are unsuitable to auto trace.
If you really want to trace something digitize it on screen this is always the best way.
I have had customers in my shop literally jaw dropped with how fast I can create something from a shabby piece of paper.

I couldn't live with the racket a camm-1 makes!
I have 2 of them under the bench at work gathering dust.
As for cutting small stuff.
I have found that on the mutoh plotter it is very fusy about the offset and you have to do a test cut to check that it is set right.
The speed is set at about...
We have a VJ 1604 and a SC-1400D
The only problem we have had with it is it can sometimes really c**k up reading the reg lines and completley destroy a print and cut job. Which can be expensive.
We also had an issue with it reading reg marks when there is bright sunlight outside!!!!
The...
Ive had this problem before with big bad results.
Most of the time especially if the item has been painted with 2 pack paints is if they have not been properly mixed and baked in an oven.
Leave them at least a week maybe more in colder climates.
The results are terrible if this has not been...
