  2. Dimensional bent steel, 1/8" x 3/4", powder coated

Go to your local steel fabrication shop. This is meant to be made from flat 3/4 x 1/8 stock, cut and bent into the shapes and welded at the apices. You might have to provide a 1:1 scale paper drawing as a template for them, as well as possibly making round forms for them to bend the steel around...
  3. Cut vinyl on a football

Because the curve of the ball is symmetric, a single line of copy will look straight and not curve if applied along the longitude (like the seams) of the ball. Just have to be smart about not having too may long lines of copy that will end up converging at the poles.
  4. Whats the best material for Bumper Stickers?

I defy you to put on a cast unlaminated vinyl bumper sticker without application tape and not get it all stretched and wonky. And no, bumper stickers don't get application tape. Calendared is definitely the way to go, for price and stiffness. And thicker is better. Consider also looking for...

So that means that in Illustrator, before you export the file for printing, there has to be a vector line where you want it to cut, and it has to be given the color CutContour (which should already be in your custom palette if you had been doing this before). Then export the logo with its...

  14. This is a new one to me

I believe they would be talking about a 4x4 lumber post with a lumber cross base made of 2x4's like you used to make for Christmas trees, but with gussets added to brace the base, then painted to match the sign background. Solid and heavy. They used to use signs like this at camps...
  15. Another spelling mistake

I liked the one about the airline Cathay Pacific misspelling their name on a plane. CATHAY PACIIC is what it said. The letter installer just didn't give an F.

Paint the letters white and throw reflective glass beads on the paint before it dries.
  17. Discussion Police car graphics gone bad

Why make things difficult by insisting on printed vinyl? The standard for police car lettering has always been using cut colored vinyl or reflective vinyl. It works, it's simple, doesn't require lamination, doesn't require a $20,000 printer, and it lasts. Just because you have a hammer it...
