I'm getting short sighted I guess so I would like to be able to increase the pick radius of my pick tool in Corel 14. I can't find anything wandering around in the software. Anyone know the secret.

I have a customer who wants his logo in a format that has a transparent background so He can use it Word or Paint (I forget which) for "things". I have Corel and Illustrator but I can't make it so it looks good. (I can't make one at all in Illy... but I'm challenged in that software.) I get...
Sam... I just use fingers and the piece of sandpaper itself. Like I said, the letters are pretty smooth to start with. The paint makes them smooth too.
The large lettering on the sign posted here was done with a 1.5" wide cabinet makers chisel from the building supply and a box cutter. Except...
I sand the letters a bit with 320 grit aluminum oxide paper. I buy the stearate coated stuff... for sanding painted things. I don't sand them very much. Mostly to feather the cut edge of the paint. (the panels are pre-painted and I carve the lettering through a paint mask)

Forgot to mention... I carve my lettering through a paintmask so powder is not required. Red iron oxide is a traditional base coat colour for gilding. More typical indoor of work though.
That's 9 coats of Pittsburgh semigloss latex house and trim. Like I said.. I shudda used tinted primer. It dried fast for a red latex though. The black, white and burgundy are Rustoleum latex. Fantastic stuff but only a few stock colours. (I mixed the burgundy) Go try some... you can shower me...
