We had one client determined to use magnets. He pulled his doors apart and glued some really strong magnets to the inside panels... I was surprised but it worked and the magnets held on really well.
Costly and time consuming... But if they need magnets... It is an option.
If you like Latex... They build a version for every use.
For $7000, you can get the 115 - Which will allow you to print 129 SQFT an hour - 8x 129 = 1032 SQFT.. roughly 2 full rolls on indoor quality prints.
I'd go with the one that takes more ink though. I have a 110 at my house for when I...
Co-worker before me used 2 thumb tacks... He'd press it into the corners of the reg marksand use that to align it right into the groove... It's a fool proof / idiot way.
I just push down and get it as straight as possible with my thumbs... Maybe 1 in 100 times is it off. Long prints over 6 FT...
Isn't it a 9 year old printer? I know it sucks when something is end of life. But there's probably very few people still using working ones... So it doesn't make.sense for HP to continue supporting it.
Right now all their new printers use the same ink... The first set of latex was a different...
There's tons of 789 printheads on eBay. They're Chinese made ones.. but since the printers obsolete now you may have to settle for them.

I think it's been really bad since this last Election.
You had one candidate that leaned really far one way... and another that leaned really far the other way. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground anywhere, so it's now a "You're either with us, or against us" Mentality. I hated Hilary...
Yes. I'm not saying to speed wrap a vehicle.. At all the wrap trade shows they have competitions. Avery, 3M, Etc throw them together - The person with the best wrap in the quickest time ends up getting something stupidly cheap like a roll of vinyl for free. They do it for fun... I wouldn't...
How many are you going to do? If youre not doing banners daily... And the banners don't have to last for years, Buy some banner tape. $8 a roll.. It's pretty cheap. Adds about a buck to every 8ft banner... Durable enough to last for months, etc.
That's the cheapest way. Most efficient if you...
Most installers who have been in the business for longer than a few years charge by the sqft, not by the hour. Of course they include difficulty in the sqft... We charge more for a bumper than we charge for half a vehicle.
Theres a guy I know who's been in the business for 20+ years, started...
560 is great. The new losing mechanism is awesome.. No more core holders to load up. Because it's now enclosed...it does use a little more vinyl if you want to stick it past the heater, but we love it.
For the past two years we've been printing police cars on 680 with my home.latex 110. One got...
You can sub it out but you likely won't get too much proffit if you do. Unless you're super busy and can't afford taking the time to print them, id do it myself. Yes... It's a big job, but may as well keep it in house using the same materials you always do.
You're looking at 10 rolls of...
We have a 40ft flat deck we got customized to hold assembled extruded signs for the highways. We used to keep it in our locked yard...
One day we noticed wires hanging out. Someone ripped all the copper wiring out of it... No wiring to the breaks or lights. Probably a $20 spool of wiring new...
In BC we havE a fee called EHF fee.
Eevrytine you buy anything electronic.. Such as a TV over 30" we pay $28. Think it's under 20 for smaller.
That money is used to pay for depots and the cost to transit and recycle the materials. It's like a hidden tax.. It allows us to drop off any...
To be honest I'm not sure which it is. I'm sure each manufacturer has their own composition of materials... But generally they're all recyclable. Most recycling places hear coroplast or alupanel and they don't know what it is, so it's easier to say no.
We had about 300 screenprinted coro signs...
Why will they not take it? Tell them it's resin code 5, and any place that takes plastic should be Able to take it. We can even drop ours off at the bottle depots here.
When we inquired most didn't know what it was... We had to find the code it's recycled under, then pretty much everyone...
Do you like flexi? You can upgrade your hp edition to work with both. I believe I was quoted $1500. I opted to pay the $50 a month subscription version instead.
After a year... I canceled and paid $2000 for onyx. Right now onyx has a 25% special for their 30 year anniversary. Ends at the...
The networking licenses is dumb for thrive.
It's 4 rips... So if you have a 4 core pc and your ripping 4 files on one... All your licenses will be taken up and you can't open it on another. I think it defaults to 2 per pc..
As for your problem.. I'm sure onyx server doesn't notice realize the...
Each have their benefits. The latex fanbois will swear by latex... The solvent will swear by solvent.
Ive ran all three. I love the latex the best... But that doesn't mean it's better than solvent. For every up it has, it has a down.
One is not better than the other... They're just Different.
