Hey Ben....I think we can officially declare this to be a very productive thread. You must admit that amidst all the nonsense replies you have actually learned a great deal through this experience. Also, you've grown from vulgar, retaliatory name calling to calm thoughtful responding...I think...
OK, I just got off the phone with Mimaki and they suggest obtaining part #SPC-0364 from your dealer, which is the proper lubricant for the Y axis rails.
I'd be very hesitent to put oil on those rails. There is a bicyle chain lubricant that is not an oil that might work good. I think it has a teflon base. Mimaki specifies in their instructions that there is a product available from them to lubricate those rails but I have not found a supplier who...
Just as a point of reference, his design doesn't look a whole lot different than the Lowen ad on this website...and they propose to be the world leader in wraps. The only difference is that theirs is blue and black and their text is more legible.
Now you know what...I think you all are being a little harsh...I agree that this is one of those toooo busy designs that "we all who know better" don't like, however, considering the vehicle that it is on, the connection with an auto repair shop and the simple message he is trying to convey...
Bob...Just wanted to let you know that I got your package! Thank you very much for everything! I wish everybody would treat me that way, I'd be a lucky guy! Are those shirts that you designed? Did Dennis print them for you by any chance?

Your answers have prompted me to look further and I have found some good information at Adobe/Support/Knowledge Base...I don't know why I didn't think to do that in the first place. Anyway here are some possible solutions:

I asked this in another thread inappropriately so I'm reposting it here hoping for some hints to the solution...Thanks!
I'm having some problems with fonts in Illustrator CS (v11):
1) There are certain installed fonts that cannot be accessed through the Character Palette but can be...
You simply get toooo much for free here. It would be good if the site were structured like all those bidding sites where they tell you about all the bid opportunities but unless you join the only thing you see is what information you are not getting for free. Free members should get to see all...
That's an interesting design but you make it yourself of course, just as you described it. That isn't like any mass produced sign system I've ever seen.
I think Steph makes a very valid argument and states a good case, it's too bad it will get lost in this obscure thread. I understand your philosophy Fred and rarely disagree with any point you make but I've always been unsure of this dual existence at Signs101, though unfortunately I don't have...
I like it, good looking, I found navigating simple and direct, couple of little spelling errors here and there, which I'm sure you'll pick up in the final proofing....I think you need to raise some of your prices for retail though...geez.
I agree with all that if you go larger then 30" is the next size you should consider...Gerber, Graphtec, Summa. You can definitely find a good used Gerber Envision 375 or 750 if you are patient, that is what I'd probably try to do.
I don't know why but I can not view your images, I can only see the thumbnails...that being said, on first glance it looks more like Graphics Jailhouse to me and it seems very distracting to your text/logo.
