  2. paint questions

What you have done so far up to the Black 1S paint is fine. I'd never take a chance now using a water base Gold on top of the fresh 1S Black. Just go with the 1S Gold, maybe it isn't the best Gold in the world but I never had any specific problem with it, I have pieces out there for years that...
  3. Outsource Illuminated Cabinet Sign

Mike, I also did not see you in the new merchant directory, apparently you have to list yourself there. Also, you have limited contact information as I would have liked to be directed to your website or something more, maybe you should enhance that a little. Thannks!

  8. iPod Nano questions?

The Ipod selection you make depends on what your intended use is. That particular model you pointed out is a perfect choice for playing music, I just bought the same one for my daughter and she loves it. It has good battery life, has a camera, has a mini external speaker and is a good value for...
  9. how's this for a tshirt.

I think the design looks fine but without knowing what part might be the logo and what part you had liberty to design with I don't think you can critique the design. Just curious, how do you intend to print this on shirts...what process are you designing for?
  10. So let the hatin begin

Well, I'll tell you what I do like here...your confident attitude...you made a decision and your standing by it...good for you! I'm not sure the truck design would be right for me but like you say, if you feel it's working for you then it's good. At first I thought the black rims just looked...
  11. Favorite masking tool?

Another roll of masking or another empty core to roll the mask on with is the way to go.

Your install looks great except for those wicked wrinkles you got in the bottom...couldn't you have fixed that??
  13. Does anyone use a cold laminator to apply mask film?

So are you saying that you usually just laminate small pieces and therefore don't load a roll of laminate in the machine? If you don't load the roll of transfer tape in the machine prior to letting her rip, what do you do with the roll when it's ripping? I'm not familiar with those processes, I...

Spend some time at this site and I think you'll have all your answers: http://photobrasive.com/ They make some nice equipment, I've tried it and it does a beautiful job. If I win the lottery, that's one of the first places I'd visit!
  15. Does anyone use a cold laminator to apply mask film?

I'm with Rep...if you only have one laminator and you'd have to unload your laminate, load your transfer tape, calibrate the machine for transfer tape, run the job, unload your transfer tape, load your laminate back, recalibrate the machine for laminate....I think that is just nuts, especially...

  18. Food Bank sign destroyed

That is truly a shame after all that beautiful sincere effort you put into that. Do they have insurance? At least that's a good thing about HDU, without too, too much effort you can make a good repair and put it back in service.
  19. Applying lettering over wraps

If you were planning on removing, I'd also use a removable adhesive vinyl, though they typically do not contour very well.
  20. I Messed Up

I am far from an expert in auto mirrors but I know from a broken mirror experience on my daughter's car that each part of the mirror is generally obtainable from your local dealer. That being said, if you try to get the mirror off and you break it, you can probably get just a new mirror glass...
