Came in this morning to find the print I had going last night mangled and the carriage separated. I restarted the printer, did a manual clean, ran a cleaning cycle, did a print test and got the Attached result. I ran a medium clean and it came out the same. this is my first major malfunction...

I presume then that you use 180, and have no problems with lifting? Is there something we might be missing that you could expand on, or are you just enjoying your laugh?

the price savings is substantial, and we have been having some problems with the 3M 180 lifting in channels. Our supplier said that if we use the avery 1005EZ and the DOL 1460 overlam, avery guarantees it to not lift in channels.

I'm thinking of making the switch from 3M IJ180 to Avery 1005EZ RS. Has anyone used both of these and have an opinion on whether or not to switch?

I'd be most worried about support should something go wrong.
  18. Static Cling

It probably was cling on both sides, the problem is if you do a full coverage print on cling, it covers the clingy substrate with ink, and it no longer works as well. If you want it to cling to the printed side, you are better off leaving a .5-1" border around the edge. Also as mentioned before...
  19. Logo and Name combined whatcha think

For logos, I figure if you cant make it work in black and white, it doesnt work.

the two vinyls i named earlier are only about .30 a square unlaminated, and are meant for short term wraps.
