In Jersey it's every 4 years. We have a little local DMV branch in my town so I'm usually in and out within a half hour so, generally don't have much of a hassle.

I'll have to shop around a bit when I renew in a few months, when I got esurance a few years ago they were the cheapest quote I got. I only pay $90 a month for a 98 saturn, wouldn't mind something even cheaper though, every penny counts these days.

Roland Solvent Glossy Paper. They also make a version of it with an adhesive backing, it's a bit pricey though.

+1, I used to use Inkscape and GIMP before I got Corel. Inkscape is more than capable of recreating a simple design like the OP's.
